How to use Ariel 3 in 1 laundry capsules?

How to use Ariel 3 in 1 laundry capsulesAriel 3 in 1 capsules are a universal and quite popular laundry detergent today. Due to their innovative composition, they perform all the necessary functions - remove stubborn stains, preserve the color of things, take care of the fabric, give the linen softness and a pleasant aroma. One small capsule contains three different components that provide impeccable cleaning quality. Let's figure out how to use Ariel 3 in 1 laundry capsules and what their features are.

Using capsules correctly

Having bought a box of capsules for the first time, housewives do not fully understand how to use the product. There is no need to load the “pad” into the dispenser. Unlike regular washing powder or liquid gel, capsules should be placed directly into the drum. If you put them in a powder receptacle, complete dissolution will not occur, which means that the desired cleaning effect will not be achieved. Instructions for using washing pads will be as follows:

  • put a batch of things into the automatic machine, observing the maximum permissible load weight;
  • Throw the capsule under your clothes, placing it at the far wall of the tank;
  • select the required program, start the cycle.where to put the capsules

You should take the “cushion” out of the box carefully. It is important not to damage the integrity of the shell, otherwise chemicals may get on the skin and cause allergies or irritation. Do not remove them with wet hands.

Capsules are not recommended for hand washing, cleaning woolen items, silk items.

It is enough to put one “pad” in the washing machine. Excessive consumption of reagents will lead to the formation of stains on things.You should get rid of whitish stains on clothes immediately after they are detected. Additional rinsing will help eliminate the defect if stains were detected immediately after washing. If the stains have already dried, you can remove them using a proven method - wipe the contaminated area with alcohol, then wash the item again and rinse.

What is the capsule made of?

Manufacturers of household chemicals use the latest technologies in their work. The latest development in laundry detergents is the ability to produce micro-containers that are water-soluble. They are filled with gel. The main components of the capsules' internal mixture are surfactants, phosphonates (necessary for water softening), enzymes (natural enzymes that accelerate the process of dissolving dirt), flavors and stain removers.

The Ariel shell also contains a conditioner-rinse agent, which is activated during the rinse phase. There is no optical brightener in the product. Ariel tablets dissolve quickly even in cool water. Calculating the dosage of the composition is very simple, everything is indicated on the packaging.

The shell of the microcontainer, in which the active components are located, is made from water-soluble polymers. “Pads” are available in various shades; high-quality washing gel allows you to deal with the most difficult stains without pre-soaking.

Ariel 3 in 1 capsules contain a stain remover, a gel composition for washing and a conditioner-rinse aid.

It is important to keep the product away from children and water. Brightly colored tablets may deteriorate when exposed to moisture. As for children, the capsules, if ingested, can easily cause severe poisoning. It is necessary to place the “pads” in an airtight container and keep them away from children.

Advantages and disadvantages

Free-flowing standard powder is in many ways inferior to modern encapsulated gels. Experts, analyzing the composition of the liquid cleaning product, noted its excellent washing ability, this is achieved due to the added stain remover (developed by Ariel). There are several advantages of 3 in 1 capsules, let’s look at them.

  • Exact dosage. It is impossible to exceed the recommended amount of the product; the manufacturer clearly states how much laundry one tablet is designed for. If you follow the recommendations, there will be no stains left on your things. Basically, one capsule is enough for one washing cycle.advantages of Ariel capsules
  • Complex action. They allow you not to buy stain remover, powder and conditioner separately, since they perform the functions of all these products at the same time. The “pad” washing mixture contains all the components necessary to ensure high quality cleaning.
  • Excellent washing quality. The shell contains active components produced using the latest technologies. The substances allow you not only to remove stains, but also to maintain the color and shape of the fabric even with daily washing.
  • Safety. If you follow the rules, the active substances of the capsule will not be able to get on the mucous membranes or skin of a person’s hands. The tablet shell dissolves only when interacting with water.
  • Complete dissolution in cool water. Even at a heating temperature of 30°C, the capsule disintegrates completely, and then can be easily rinsed out of the fabric fibers. There is no detergent mixture left on things, and there will be no gel residue on the walls of the drum.
  • Economical. Often, measuring powder or liquid gel with a special glass leads to the product spilling and crumbling.Also, most users measure the dosage of the composition “by eye,” which often leads to overspending. With Ariel capsules such nuances are excluded.
  • Convenient packaging. The tablets are placed in a plastic container that does not allow water to pass through. It closes tightly with a lid and is easy to store.

As for the disadvantages, we can note the impossibility of dividing the shell into parts. This drawback is especially noticeable when the washing machine is running half empty. Also, the capsule cannot be used for hand washing. The overly bright colors of the “pads” can also be considered a downside. They attract the attention of small children. Therefore, you should not leave the container in easily accessible places.

Types of product

The Ariel brand produces 2in1 and 3in1 encapsulated gels. It is three-component capsules that have gained great popularity. The manufacturer offers three types of “pads” for washing:

  • green – focused on cleaning white and light-colored items and combating stubborn stains;
  • purple – intended for washing colored laundry, restoring the brightness of fabrics;
  • with conditioner-rinse aid “Lenore” - specifically for cleaning bedding.types of Ariel capsules

On store shelves and online shopping sites you can find Ariel 3in1 packages containing from 12 to 48 capsules. The number of tablets depends on the type of product. Thus, Ariel PODS “Mountain Spring” containers have a filling of 12 to 30 pieces, “Color” - 12, 15 and 23 tablets. Capsulated gel "Color Liquid Tabs" in a family package contains 48 "pads".

The owner's opinion?

Elena, Moscow city

I first decided to try this laundry detergent about three months ago. It was interesting to test this cleaning method.I loaded the washing machine with a couple of towels, home clothes, pajamas, underwear and a few other small items. I put the capsule under my things, as the manufacturer recommends. I started the standard “Cotton” mode, lasting 75 minutes. When the machine started working, I still didn’t understand whether the pad had dissolved. There was literally no foam at all.

But my bewilderment did not last long. Literally by the 5th minute of the cycle, so much foam had formed that it obscured everything - things weren’t even visible. It felt like I poured half a pack of powder into the washing machine at once.

The residual foam did not disappear even after rinsing. Only towards the very end of the cycle did the water become more or less clear. When I opened the hatch to take out my clothes, a simply “stunning” aroma hit my nose. This concentration almost knocked me off my feet. The smell spread literally throughout the entire house.

The washed clothes were slightly puffy. That is, when it was compressed, the sound of melting foam was heard, although it was not visible on the things. The quality of washing is really excellent - not a trace remains of stains on the clothes. I have no complaints about the cleansing properties of the capsules.There is too much foam from the capsules

I didn't feel comfortable touching washed clothes. It seemed too hard and crunchy, as if the foam had not been completely rinsed out of the tissue. The scent from the clothes is also very strong, the smell literally gave me a headache.

I didn’t start an additional rinse, which I later regretted. I couldn’t sleep on a sheet, wear pajamas and home clothes washed by Ariel. The smell is intoxicating, I have never felt such a lasting aroma from any perfume.

I could barely wear underwear for one day. After work, I immediately took it off and also threw it in the wash.The Ariel scent “comes out” even from under thick clothes: jeans, sweaters. I would also like to say that I experienced a slight itch – I constantly wanted to scratch my skin.

I think that the price of the product is very high, and it is not profitable to buy an expensive package that will last for a maximum of 12 washes.

So, in addition to the high price, I didn’t like the 3in1 capsules because of the impossibility of dosing the product, excessive foaming, and strong odor. I will no longer wash with pads, as the gel is difficult to rinse out of fabrics and has caused me a slight allergy.
