The door lock icon will always light up red in case of any malfunction. The glow of the remaining indicators is selective, depending on the breakdown that has occurred. Let's figure out what error codes are programmed into the Indesits' memory.

F01 (F1) – indicator 1 lights up. The code informs about damage to the electric motor.
F02 (F2) – lamp 2 is on. Indicates abnormal operation of the motor.

How to disable panel lock? Of course, the problem needs to be fixed. But it’s not always a matter of a real breakdown; sometimes the washing machine just “freezes”, and you can resuscitate it in just a minute.

Resetting the control lock

The tidy is not always blocked due to a real breakdown. The control panel may stop responding to user commands due to a momentary system failure. In this case, it will be enough to simply reset the error.

To disable the lock, press the “Start/Pause” button for 10 seconds; if the washing machine model is outdated, then additionally move the programmer to the OFF position.

turn the selector knob to the OFF position;
hold down the “Start” key for 5 seconds;
unplug the power cord from the outlet and leave the machine for 20-25 minutes;
turn on the machine and activate the desired washing mode.

If Indesit does not respond to turning the program selector and pressing buttons, then you can immediately proceed to the third stage - turn off the power to the MAS. This measure is resorted to only as a last resort - a sudden power cut can lead to damage to the control module.
