Description of delicate wash?

Delicate washing on any washing machine of any brand is a gentle algorithm designed to clean “capricious” items that require special care. What things does this apply to? These include elegant underwear with lace inserts, silk, wool, fancy synthetic fabrics, as well as products made from them. In short, if an item has a tag that says hand wash only, it can sometimes be perfectly replaced by a delicate wash in a machine.

Important! When starting a gentle algorithm, it is not recommended to use dry powders; it is better to give preference to gel-based products.

The duration of the delicate cycle is determined both by the characteristics of the model itself and by the settings set by the user. On average, on Indesit machines the cycle lasts up to 50 minutes. In this case, the drum is filled only 1/3 of the base loading volume (in Indesit SM this is usually 2 kg). Soaked cotton. Maximum temperature 90 degrees, maximum spin 1000 rpm. Maximum load 6 kg. The cycle lasts 150 minutes. Allows the use of pre-wash, main detergent and rinse aid.
Cotton: Heavily soiled laundry. Maximum temperature 90 degrees, maximum spin 1000 rpm. Maximum load 6 kg. The cycle lasts 140 minutes. Allows the use of basic products, bleaches and rinse aids.
Cotton (1) is suitable for firmly dyed laundry. Heating up to 60 degrees, spin speed up to 1000 rpm. Maximum load 6 kg. Cycle duration is 195 minutes. Combines with base product, bleach and rinse aid.
Cotton (2) is suitable for delicate colored laundry. Heating up to 40 degrees, spinning up to 1000 rpm. Maximum volume 6 kg, washing duration 180 minutes. Combines with base product, bleach and rinse aid.
Cotton: Heavily soiled whites and strongly dyed colours. Heating up to 60 degrees, spinning up to 1000 rpm. Loading no more than 6 kg. Cycle duration is 120 minutes. Combines with base product, bleach and rinse aid.
Colored cotton. For delicate dyed laundry. Heating up to 40 degrees, speed up to 1000 rpm. The maximum permissible volume is 6 kg. The duration of the program is no more than 85 minutes. Involves the use of a basic product, rinse aid and bleach.
Intensive synthetics. For heavily soiled colored laundry. Heating up to 60 degrees, spin speed up to 800 rpm. Maximum load volume 3 kg, cycle duration 105 minutes. Use with base product, bleach and rinse aid.
Synthetics. For lightly soiled, permanently colored laundry. Heating water up to 40 degrees, spinning up to 1000 rpm. The maximum permissible volume is 3 kg, cycle duration is 95 minutes.
Wool. For wool and products containing it. Heating up to 40 degrees, spin speed up to 600 rpm. It is permissible to use the main product and rinse aid. Max. permissible load 1 kg, cycle duration 65 minutes.
Silk/Curtains. Cleaning silk, viscose products, as well as fancy underwear. The water heats up to 30 degrees, there is no spin. Combines with main product and rinse aid. Maximum load no more than 1 kg. The duration of the program is 65 minutes.
Jeans. Water temperature up to 40 degrees, spin speed up to 800 rpm. The maximum volume is 2.5 kg, and the cycle duration is 70 minutes. Use with main product and rinse aid.
Express 15. Temperature no higher than 30 degrees, spin up to 800 rpm. The maximum permissible load is 1.5 kg, the duration of the algorithm is only 15 minutes. Involves the use of a main product and rinse aid. It is strictly not recommended to wash delicate laundry with this mode!
Sports intensive. Water heating up to 30 degrees, spin speed up to 600 rpm. Max. permissible load 2.5 kg. Cycle duration is 85 minutes. Combines with main product and rinse aid.
Sport. The program is similar to the previous one, the only difference is that the duration of the regime is 60 minutes.
Sport shoes. Heating water up to 30 degrees. Spin speed up to 600 rpm. The algorithm is combined with a main wash detergent and rinse aid. The cycle lasts 55 minutes.

Note! You can wash no more than 2 pairs of shoes at a time in the Indesit machine on the “Sports Shoes” mode!

In addition, there are three more short programs that implement one of the stages of the cycle: “Rinse”, “Spin” and “Drain without spin”. All of them have a maximum loading volume of 6 kg. You can use the main product and rinse aid with rinsing. On “Rinse” and “Spin” you can set the speed to 1000 revolutions, and “Drain without spin”, accordingly, does not support spinning.
