Quality of Russian-assembled Bosch washing machines

Quality of Russian-assembled Bosch washing machinesLarge Bosch household appliances assembled in Russia cost much less than European equipment. The difference in price sometimes reaches 50%. Judging by rumors, the quality of Russian-assembled Bosch washing machines is slightly different, and not for the better. Let's try to figure out if this is so.

Consolidated point of view of specialists

Is it worth buying Bosch washing machines assembled in Russia? Judging by the reviews of experts, yes. The plant in St. Petersburg produces high-quality automatic cars that are not inferior to their German counterparts.

Professionals are confident that the Russian assembly is not a disadvantage. There is a simple explanation for this - well-established quality control. The St. Petersburg plant does not produce parts and components, but only connects large units into one whole. It is quite difficult to make a mistake when performing these actions.

Experts do not see any significant differences, other than cost, between equipment assembled in Germany and Russia.

Bosch washing machine plant in St. PetersburgOn the Internet you can find information that the rating of Bosch washing machines assembled in the Russian Federation is lower than that of similar equipment produced in other countries. These data have no confirmation.

When deciding whether to buy a “Russian” Bosch machine, think about whether there is a need to overpay twice as much for a European equivalent. A washing machine with a manufacturing defect can be caught in both cases. Even if domestically assembled machines have minor shortcomings that slightly shorten their service life, this is fully compensated for by the “pleasant” price of the equipment.

Russian enterprises do not produce parts and elements of Bosch machines.The factory only assembles the main components supplied by the manufacturer. Therefore, you should not be afraid for the quality of components. Bosch washing machines assembled in Russia deserve the attention of buyers. They are also hopeful and durable, like the German "twins".

I would like to leave a review of the Russian-assembled BOSCH Maxx 7 VarioPerfect automatic machine. Having moved into my own apartment with my husband and two children, we immediately began choosing a washing machine. I wanted to buy a high-quality and inexpensive model with a spacious drum and good functionality. We decided to opt for Bosch equipment, since my parents have been using an automatic machine from this brand for 7 years, and are very satisfied.

Since we have small children, it was important to have a quick wash program. Because clothes usually just need to be refreshed, and not spun in a drum for two hours. The BOSCH Maxx 7 VarioPerfect has a fifteen-minute cleaning mode, this model won me over.

The machine works very quietly. I even run it at night when the children are already asleep. The control panel has a convenient display. I like that the display shows how much time is left until the end of the cycle and what stage of washing the unit has started. The detergent container can be easily removed for cleaning.

We have been using BOSCH Maxx 7 VarioPerfect, assembled in Russia, for 5 years, during which time there has not been a single breakdown or leak.

We bought a “home assistant” in Eldorado. I am very pleased with our washing machine. Among the advantages I will highlight:

  • spacious drum for 7 kg of laundry;
  • reasonable price;
  • quiet operation;
  • simple and intuitive interface;
  • efficiency;
  • a large number of programs and additional options;
  • high quality washing.

Despite the fact that the assembly is Russian, there were no problems with the washing machine, and I hope there won’t be any.

Six months ago, I urgently needed to buy a washing machine on a limited budget. I had my eye on an interesting Indesit model, but my husband was categorically against it and insisted on a German manufacturer. Moreover, money was tight, and there was only enough for the simplest Bosch machine.

This is how we got BOSCH WLG20061OE. When purchasing, I was confused by the St. Petersburg assembly, but the sales consultant reassured me that the quality of the equipment was no different from European. After six months of use, I can say: this is how it is, the washing machine suits us in every way, it doesn’t “be capricious” and doesn’t “freeze.”

The design of BOSCH WLG20061OE is the simplest, but for me this is not important. I admire that the machine is narrow - it is only 45 cm deep, and at the same time roomy. The machine is in a tiny bathroom and doesn’t bother anyone.

Operating the washing machine is easy. The electronic panel has a program switch knob, a Start/Pause button and two additional function keys. Therefore, even a child can start the cycle.

A brief description of the parameters of each program is presented on the control panel, which is very convenient. I read the instructions only once and didn’t touch them again because everything was clear. The “Cotton” mode can be started at temperatures from 40°C to 90°C, and pre-wash can be activated.

Basically, our family uses programs for cleaning mixed laundry or super-fast mode. They differ only in the temperature of water heating, and, accordingly, in the duration. There is a “Drain” option, as well as a “Rinse plus spin” option.

I like the mode for washing children's clothes. In my opinion, the settings are perfect.Here is the optimal water temperature and cycle duration. The manufacturer also provides the possibility of starting an additional rinse and refusing to spin. The Russian-assembled BOSCH WLG20061OE machine perfectly washes even the most difficult stains.

To be honest, the first days after the purchase I regretted that I had purchased the cheapest washing machine. I wanted there to be more different additions and functions. But now I can say that the programmed modes and options are quite enough to wash any types of fabrics with varying degrees of dirt. The lack of a display doesn’t disappoint either – after a month you already remember how long a particular program lasts. Now I’m even glad that I didn’t overpay for additional and often unnecessary bells and whistles.

    There is nothing worse than Russian-assembled Bosch! If I had known that it was not a Polish car, I would not have bought it in my life! 2 years and today they are taking it to the landfill! This brand has been ruined!

      I'm of the same opinion! They are doing sabotage. 3.5 years and a throwaway car. Well, or repair +10,000 rubles. The bearing and shock absorbers failed due to a poor-quality oil seal that let water through! Low bow to the Russian assembly!

    In December 2020, we bought a Bosch WLL24267 OE washing machine, assembled in Russia St. Petersburg, from the very first starts, the stench from the rubber of the hatch was incredible every time we washed it, we had to open everything to ventilate, otherwise we would suffocate from the stench of fumes from the cuff.There is always water left in the cuff after washing; you need to remove it with a rag. Doesn't wash, washing quality is terrible. Such a famous brand and such terrible quality of the machine! Moreover, even the sellers themselves discouraged people from buying Bosch washing machines, I didn’t listen, and now I’m biting my elbows. Where should I put it? Just throw it away! I would never take a Russian assembly, but there were no European or German ones :)

    Where can I buy a spare part - a hopper with a powder receiver for a BOSCH washing machine model WLG 20160BY/04?
