Where did the error come from?

To do this, remove the garbage filter and, using a flashlight, look into the hole formed. Turn the impeller - if it rotates without any interference, then the pump is working normally. If rotation slows down, the pump may be broken or clogged.

For further repairs with your own hands, you need to gain access to the pipes and drain pump. To carry out the work you will need a set of screwdrivers and pliers. The algorithm of actions will be as follows:

• turn off the power to the washing machine;
• disconnect the machine from communications;

• if there is a bottom, unscrew the retaining bolts and remove the pan;

• Unscrew the screws holding the pump, carefully disconnect the wiring contacts and remove the pump from the housing;
• disconnect the drain pipe from the SMA tank, rinse the tube under water pressure.

The cause of the error may be a piece of fabric wound around its wings, or hair that clogs the impeller. To fix the problem, you just need to clean the part.
