Now drying things in a city apartment is problematic. Unfavorable environmental conditions prevent you from hanging wet laundry on the balcony, and using a floor dryer invariably leads to dampness and mold. A drying cabinet or machine will not help either - only owners of spacious apartments can afford bulky units. But there is a way out - buying a washing machine and dryer. Samsung also offers similar machines, however, people have different opinions about the functionality and quality of the “2 in 1” equipment.

I spent a long time wandering around household appliance stores and looking for a high-quality and smart washing machine. I asked for help from consultants, but in vain - nothing satisfied my increased demands. But I had to settle on some machine, and I chose Samsung WD806U2GAGD with a drying function.

At the moment I have been using it for more than a year and have formed an impression of its work. I’ll say right away – complete delight!

First of all, I am pleased with the compactness of the machine. The equipment is small, but for its modest dimensions it holds enough laundry. Dries 5 kg per cycle, while the drum remains half empty, which ensures perfect drying. The process takes a long time, but things go straight to the closet! By the way, this is a fundamental question, since there is no opportunity to hang clothes at home or on the balcony.

The machine has an abundance of functions. I was especially surprised by the sterilization option, when the laundry is sprayed with hot air. Among the basic set of programs it is easy to choose the appropriate mode. The washing indication and sound also work. It washes the unit with an “A” rating, rinses out detergent perfectly and even smoothes things out.

Another “plus” is the quiet operation of the engine. The engine easily reaches maximum speed, which is not felt at all: vibrations are minimal, there is no hum. Thanks to the low noise level, I leave the wash on at night and sleep peacefully.

As for the shortcomings, I noticed only one. The fact is that Samsung is very sensitive to water pressure in the water supply. When the pressure in the pipes dropped, the machine stopped and stopped the cycle automatically. I had to wait and put off washing. But after a year of operation - not a single malfunction.

I call my Samsung WD806U2GAGD a miracle. It’s a pleasure to use: in the evening I loaded dirty clothes into the drum, slept peacefully, and in the morning I took out clean laundry and immediately put it in the closet. The shirts just have to be ironed. The rest is fully automatic.

Additionally, I can note the following advantages of the washer-dryer:

• silent even during the spin cycle;
• compactness (the machine is already more expensive “competitors”);
• “Smart-check” function, when self-diagnosis can be launched through a mobile application.

There were some shortcomings. For me, these include the lack of a delicate or hand wash program. There are also difficulties with calculating the start delay.

But during operation I had to deal with several “surprises”. There are few of them, but it is better to prepare in advance. So, when connecting to the sewer yourself, you should be aware that there is no check valve on the drain hose. To prevent the machine from making errors later, it is necessary to move the “sleeve” higher. We left the corrugation below and were worried that the machine was defective.

It's also important to remember:

• after each drying, you need to clean the drum cuff from debris, especially if you were drying bedding or blankets;
• it is better to set the drying time manually, since basic programs cope worse (on average, 2.5-3 hours are enough to dry a drum 60-70% full);
• the machine is slightly larger than indicated on the label (hoses and a protruding hatch door increase the depth by 7-10 cm).

To summarize, the washing machine and dryer we bought from Samsung copes with its tasks perfectly. I definitely recommend it.

My husband decided to give me a gift - buy a high-quality washing machine. We needed a roomy (we have 8 people in our family) and multifunctional automatic machine. We were looking for a suitable washing machine for a very long time, because the choice is large, the prices are high, it’s scary to make a mistake. As a result, we examined the assortment of almost all the stores in the city and settled on the Samsung WD806U2GAGD. Yes, dear, but with a suitable maximum load, functionality and drying!

After a year of active use, I can say that this is a real miracle! The machine washes and dries, and all I have to do is press the buttons and open the door at the end. It saves a lot of time, offers a lot of modes, which is extremely convenient! There is a quick wash program that lasts 15 minutes and refreshes things.

I am absolutely delighted with the Samsung washer-dryer. I recommend everyone not to be afraid of the price, but to treat yourself!

We bought a Samsung WD80K5410OW with dryer about a year ago, hoping for positive reviews. But the high expectations were not met.

Among the advantages of the machine, I highlight only its noiselessness and excellent washing quality. But these “advantages” are offset by the fact that the full cycle, where washing and drying, resembles a lottery.

The result after such a program is completely unpredictable.After 6 cycles, the washer-dryer works normally, but after 7 cycles, you pull completely wet laundry out of the drum. Technical support solves the problem by recommending running a repeat cycle and only then calling a technician. The second time it dries well, so it doesn’t come to the point of calling service.

They explained to us that this happens if the pump “forgets” to turn on during the spin cycle. The error does not appear, and the machine continues to work, wasting electricity.

You have to control it. If I don’t hear the drain during the spin phase, I forcefully end the program and start drying. But doing this is inconvenient, especially when the Samsung washing machine costs a lot.

I am the owner of a Samsung WD90N74LNOA/LP and I can’t say anything positive about it. Oddly enough, all expectations and impressions were spoiled by the newness of the machine. All these advertised two engines, a window for additional loading, wi-fi and other super functions backfired on me.

Maybe for some the listed “tricks” will be advantages, but in our case it’s the other way around. Just a week after the purchase, Samsung’s modern door with a window for reloading things broke. More precisely, the sensor responsible for the UBL failed, which is why the washer-dryer did not want to start. We contacted the company's service center, where they replaced the sunroof with a new one free of charge, under warranty. Fortunately, the repair was completed quickly and without additional charges, thanks to the service technicians. But the unpleasant fact is that 7 days after the purchase the unit was disassembled and reassembled twice. Now we are afraid to turn to the reloading window, although the option has added to the price of the machine.

The situation is similar with wi-fi.It would seem convenient to monitor the condition of the washing machine through a mobile application, but our program “glitched” on the Galaxy 10! By the way, the control of the car is very lame: the buttons on the dashboard are described incomprehensibly, and some of the displayed icons are not explained in the instructions. There was no information that not all modes are accompanied by drying of laundry. So, the washing + drying combination applies only to the basic program, and in other cases, the washing cycle is completed, and then we manually set up the drying cycle.

I wasn't pleased with the volume of the soundtrack either. Compared to our old Bosch model, which served us for 10 years, the new Samsung latches the door, fills and drains water very loudly. I was pleasantly surprised only by the absolutely silent mode, but otherwise not. Especially annoying are the long melodies that sound in response to every action: start of a cycle, pause, stop... There is no short “pip-pip” here, only long “nightingale trills”. You can’t completely get rid of “singing.” The mute button does not prevent even half of the sounds, so keep this in mind if you want to place appliances in the kitchen or living room.

Unfortunately, we had virtually no choice. We were looking for a “2 in 1” machine, and separate machines were not suitable. If space and budget allow, it is better to purchase a separate dryer and washing machine. When there is no alternative, get ready to accept all the newfangled high-tech with all its pitfalls. According to the repairmen, with whom we saw a lot during the two weeks of using the Samsung, modern household appliances are a lottery. For some, with the same quality, it will last for many years without complaints, while for others it will periodically “glitch” and break down.

The more bells and whistles, the higher the risk of running into a malfunction.A clear example is our old Bosch, simple and understandable, which worked without complaints for 10 years and “went” to a new owner without any downtime.

Also keep in mind that the machine does not have a drum light. Although I can’t imagine why and how this function works, since the glass is darkened and you won’t be able to meditate on the laundry being washed. Separately, I would like to note the discrepancy between the actual dimensions of the case and those stated on the labeling. The height and width of the machine are normal, but the difference in depth reaches 10 cm. Such an error will play a cruel joke when integrating equipment into a set or cabinet. Our washing machine sticks out of a niche, it’s unpleasant, but we can live with it.

I hope it is clear that my impression of the machine is far from positive. I give it a low rating and recommend that you carefully weigh the pros and cons.
