How to use the DEXP washing machine correctly

In fact, learning to use a DEXP washing machine is easy. All modern machines have similar controls, so if you previously had a front-facing or vertical camera from another brand, there will be no difficulties. However, you still have to understand the features of a particular model.

How to start using the machine?

Next, the automatic machine is connected to the water supply and sewerage system. You can connect the device to house communications either independently or with the help of a specialist. It is important not to forget to remove the transport bolts from the washing machine. Now the “home assistant” is ready for its first launch.

You cannot immediately throw clothes into the drum. The first start of any washing machine is done idle, without clothes, but with detergent and at high temperature. This is necessary to wash the inside of the washing machine. During the test cycle, residual grease, oils, and dust are removed from internal parts.

How to start a normal wash:

• plug in the DEXP machine, open the shut-off valve;
• place the load of laundry into the drum (make sure that the maximum permissible load weight is not exceeded);
• close the hatch door tightly;
• add detergent (powder or gel) to the dispenser and, if necessary, conditioner;
• turn on the machine by pressing the power button;
• use the selector knob to select the appropriate washing mode;
• if necessary, adjust the cycle settings (temperature, spin speed);
• start the wash using the “Start/Pause” button.

After a few seconds, the hatch blocking device will work, and the machine will begin to draw water. The display will show all information about the washing stages, as well as the time until the end of the program. The device will notify you of the completion of the cycle with a sound signal.

You won't be able to get things right away. The hatch will open only after 2-3 minutes, when the lock is unlocked. After this, you can take out the laundry.

When finished, wipe the inside of the drum with a clean, damp cloth. Rinse the dispenser to remove any remaining powder. Leave the machine door open for ventilation.

Basic algorithms of the DEXP machine

Depending on the manufacturer of the automatic washing machine, the settings of seemingly identical washing programs may differ. Therefore, it is recommended to study the instructions for the specific SMA model. The user manual describes each mode programmed in the washing machine's memory. What algorithms does DEXP have?

• Cotton. Standard mode available in the memory of any DEXP washing machine.This algorithm assumes the maximum allowable load, the ability to adjust the temperature from 20 to 95 degrees and set the most intense spin. Designed for the care of cotton and linen items.
• Cotton Eco. Another algorithm for caring for cotton and linen products. The main difference from the previous program is maximum savings of water and electrical energy during the cycle. The degree is adjustable, you can set it to 20°C, 30°C, 40°C, 60°C or 95°C. The spin is also adjusted from minimum speed to the highest speed (according to the capabilities of the specific DEXP model).
• Synthetics. Another basic algorithm. Suitable for washing synthetic materials with normal soiling. The water heating temperature is adjusted from 20 to 60 degrees.
• Wool. A separate program for the gentle care of acrylic and wool products. The water does not warm up above 40°C. Things are wrung out at minimum speed in order to prevent deformation of materials.
• Express 15. A short mode whose task is to refresh things. The machine runs for only 15 minutes, washing temperature is 20°C, 30°C or 40°C. Depending on the degree set, the duration of the cycle will change.
• Mixed fabrics. The algorithm is launched when different types of fabric, for example, cotton and synthetics, need to be loaded into the drum at the same time. The water is not heated above 40°C, spinning is performed at medium speed. The program does not allow dark and light laundry to be washed together.
• Sportswear. A mode for washing training uniforms, which are usually sewn from a specific material - supplex, nylon, etc. This algorithm also allows loading knitted sneakers, sneakers, Czech shoes, ballet shoes into the drum. Cycle temperature from 20°C to 40°C.
• Blanket.Program for washing heavy, bulky items. You can throw both bedding and outerwear into the machine. The water is heated to 40°C, spinning is performed at the lowest speed.
• Silk. Algorithm for delicate fabrics. Washing takes place in cold water, the spin speed is minimal, if necessary, it can be turned off completely.
• Kids' things. A special feature of the program is steam treatment of laundry. This allows you to fight bacteria and allergens remaining in the fibers of the fabric. An additional rinse is also activated, due to which the detergent is completely removed from the clothes. The spin is performed at maximum speed.

The set of algorithms will differ slightly depending on the model, but the basic programs for DEXP washing machines are the same.
