The first step is to study the existing model of washing machine. For this purpose, each Indesit is accompanied by a factory marking - a barcode. It is located behind the hatch door and contains basic technical information. Thus, the following characteristics must be provided.

Model. This combination, consisting of letters and numbers, encrypts information about capacity, type of load, maximum spin speed, basic power and other technical issues. For example, the markings “WISL 124 CIS” and “AQSL 118 EU” are often found.
Serial number. A unique machine number assigned to the washing machine at the factory.The identifier consists of numbers and letters, which encrypt the year of manufacture, the manufacturer’s address and some other points.
Product code. Additional identifier consisting of 11 digits.

How to update the firmware?

The owners of Indesit are lucky. Many manufacturers deliberately complicate the flashing process, which eliminates the possibility of reinstalling the board at home. Indesit washing machines do not have such “protection”, so updating the software is relatively simple. You just need to carefully prepare for the manipulations.

First of all, we find three required elements: a computer or laptop, the software itself and the programmer.The latter is needed to connect the control board of the washing machine and the computer unit. There is no need to look for an expensive “adapter” - a regular Chinese device from USBDM will do.

For one-time firmware, a cheap Chinese programmer for $1-3 is enough.

Possible failures

Rarely, but failures do occur. Most often, the user is faced with the fact that the programmer “does not see” the connected board. Most likely, the reason lies in a faulty module. To confirm your guess, you will have to ring all the terminals of the block with a multimeter. If defects and damage are detected, appropriate repairs must be carried out. It is not recommended to carry out such manipulations at home - repairing the part is very difficult and risky. It is better to entrust this matter to the service center specialists.

If an error occurs during the firmware installation, you should immediately stop installing the utility.

The second possible problem when trying to flash the board is “popping up” system errors during the process. This indicates that the selected software is not suitable for the module. There are two options: either the user provided incorrect data during the search, or the barcode was mixed up at the factory. In any case, you will have to start the search all over again.
