• The activator does not spin. Most likely, its textolite gaskets were damaged or the lubricant was washed out.
• The car is leaking. In this situation, it is necessary to check the sealing rubber of the activator bushing, located on the impeller side.

These are typical problems with Fairy washing machines. If the device does not turn on, check if there is electricity in the house. Also inspect the power cord and its plug for defects.

When you turn on the washing machine, you hear the hum of the motor, but the activator does not spin, you will have to check its textolite gaskets. There are 4 of them in total. When replacing, you can install one seal, which will correspond in size to the original “pie” of rubber bands.

However, it is better not to open the electric motor, but to replace it as an assembly - the part is inexpensive.

In some cases, the engine mounting areas are damaged. There are no special components that could replace them. However, some craftsmen make analogues from plywood.

Sometimes the mechanical timer of the activator machine fails. You can look for a similar part in disassembly sites or on ad sites. It is connected according to the original diagram. It is also possible to replace the “clock” with a regular switch, which will start the machine “on click”.

It is important to ensure that the activator can be rotated in different directions. Therefore, when installing the most primitive switch, it is necessary to ensure that with a “click” the direction of movement also changes. This will prevent the laundry from curling when washed.

There is a recess for the activator in the bottom of the tank. There is a mark on the inner wall indicating the water level required for washing and rinsing. The rotation of the activator is ensured by a motor and a belt drive.

• time relay;
• interference suppression device;
• capacitor.

The drive is started and stopped using a time relay. Its handle is located on the dashboard of the car. The cycle of the Fairy washing machine is carried out according to the following principle:

• rotation of the electric motor and activator in one direction – 50 seconds;
• ten second pause;
• rotation of the engine and activator in the opposite direction – 50 seconds;
• pause 10 sec.

The operating principle of this washing machine is simple. The engine rotates the activator in different directions. The cycle duration is user adjustable and can range from 1 to 6 minutes. If this is not enough, you can run the machine several times in a row, without draining.

There is a drain hole at the bottom of the tank. A drainage hose is connected to it. The machine is controlled using mechanical rotary switches.
