Features of Eco in PMM Neff

Secondly, while using resources economically, it nevertheless perfectly washes not only standard sets of dishes, but even greasy baking sheets and frying pans, unless they have an old burnt layer on them. The cycle includes the following stages:

Pre-rinse;
Main wash at 50 degrees;
Intermediate rinse;
Final wash at 60 degrees;
Drying.

Review of other Neff PMM modes

Intensive washing. Consists of washing at 70 degrees, three types of rinses (preliminary, intermediate, final) and drying. On the panel it is designated as a saucepan, or with the inscription Chef 70°. This mode is designed for washing any type of dishes with the heaviest dirt. Works with all additional features.
Sensory optimized program. Designated as a bowl over two arcs. The program parameters depend on the degree of contamination and the amount of dishes, which are determined by the machine independently using special sensors. Parallel use of all additional functions is possible.
Noise optimized program. On the control panel it is indicated as a crescent moon with the inscription Night. It does not have any special features other than low noise level. Consists of washing at 50 degrees, 3 stages of rinsing and drying. Interacts only with the additional functions “Intensive wash zone”, “1/2”, “HygienePlus”, “Extra drying” and “Shiny drying”.
Delicate mode. Indicated either by the signature Glass 40° or by the glass/glass and glass icon. Suitable for removing minor stains from particularly fragile glassware and heat-sensitive materials. Consists of washing at 40 degrees, three rinses and drying. Supports additional functions such as Extra Dry, Brilliant Dry, 1/2, Intensive Wash Zone and VarioSpeedPlus.

In addition, Neff machines have three time-optimized programs.

Fast 65°. Designated as a glass and a glass, and next to them are arrows pointing to the right. Supports only the additional functions of Shiny and Extra Drying.The cycle includes washing at 65 degrees, two rinses (intermediate and final) and drying. It does a good job of washing mixed dishes and cutlery with minor stains and household food residues.

Important! Neff machines are also equipped with a separate cold rinse program (shower icon). It is used at the user's initiative, does not support any additional functions and is suitable for all types of cookware.

Some owners may encounter a program indicated on the panel as a PMM basket with a highlight, or the inscription EasyClean. This is a 70 degree wash program for washing the machine itself. In combination with special products, it is used to care for PMM.

Additional dishwasher options

When everything is clear with the main programs, you should move on to additional functions. After all, they can greatly improve the operation of the machine and make life easier for the owner.

VarioSpeedPlus or simply Time Saving. How long does the PMM wash in this mode? Depending on the main program, cycle times can be reduced by 20-60%. At the same time, to maintain cleaning efficiency, resource consumption increases.
1/2 load. If your machine is not fully loaded, use this function to save water, electricity and detergent.Place it a little less than recommended for a full basket.
HygienePlus mode or hygienic washing. What is it for? If you need to achieve a high-quality disinfectant effect, use this function regularly. When using it, the temperature reaches high values and is maintained at this level for a particularly long time.
Intensive dishwashing area. This function allows you to combine dishes of different degrees of soil during a single cycle. Heavily dirty dishes are placed in the lower basket, and less soiled ones are placed in the upper basket.
Extra drying. Drying takes longer when using this program. Recommended for drying plastic dishes, which usually dry more slowly.
Brilliant drying. Increased water consumption and a longer drying phase contribute to the appearance of shine on the dishes and prevent the appearance of stains and streaks.

Attention! With Brilliant Drying, it is recommended to additionally use a rinse aid for PMM.

Energy saving in Neff machines is included not only in a separate program, but also in an additional function with the same purpose: reducing water and electricity consumption when washing. To achieve optimal washing and drying results, the program duration is increased.
