Siemens dishwasher programs

Siemens dishwasher programsSiemens produces a wide range of different dishwashers to suit every taste, color and budget. They differ in size, weight, visual design, price category and much more. But at the same time, they have a lot in common. For example, the set of modes of a Siemens dishwasher will be almost the same everywhere. Let's take a closer look at it.

What is the correct name for the Siemens PMM algorithm?

In various user manuals, on thematic websites, and simply on the Internet, in relation to dishwashers and their algorithms, one comes across such terms as “program”, “cycle”, “mode”. Is there any difference between them or do they all mean the same thing? In fact, there really is no difference. All these concepts characterize in the PMM a certain algorithm laid down by the manufacturer, which includes a number of parameters and is designed not only to wash dishes, but also to implement a number of other capabilities:

  • keep dishes intact;
  • delicate modes are especially gentle when handling fragile dishes;
  • soak and help remove dried residues from the dishes;
  • rational use of resources;
  • dry dishes.shiny dishes from the dishwasher

You can’t list everything in one list. But the main goal of any regime is still the same - to wash the dishes well. And in order for the dishwasher to surely cope with this, it cannot be done without the initiative of the user, who should carefully read the description of the programs and make the right choice.

Characteristics of Siemens PMM programs

Siemens technology is good, and even with a small number of programs it can find an approach to any type of dishes and any type of dirt.Let's consider the main set of programs to roughly represent the capabilities of PMM.

  • Eco-50 degrees program. It lasts 180 minutes, consumes 9 liters of water and 0.78 kilowatts of electricity per hour.
  • Quick program 45 degrees. The cycle duration is only 30 minutes, during which time the same 9 liters of water and 0.7 kilowatts of energy per hour are consumed. Excellent for not very dirty dishes made of light materials.
  • Rinse. Rinsing requires a lot of water - 3 liters and 0.05 kilowatts of energy. It lasts only 15 minutes and is designed to wash away any remaining detergent from the dishes after the main program.Siemens PMM modes
  • Auto program 45-65 degrees. Program parameters can vary not only regarding temperature. Energy consumption: 0.7-1.3 kilowatts per hour. Water consumption: 7-16 liters. Cycle duration: 50-90 minutes. The peculiarity of the automatic program is that it itself determines how many dishes are in the basket and how dirty they are. Depending on this, the PMM sets the washing parameters.

Attention! Also, when using the automatic program, you can simultaneously turn on the intensive washing mode, the effect of which will apply to the lower basket of the chamber. This will facilitate even better cleaning of pans, pots and other utensils.

If there are few dishes and they do not need intensive washing, then it is recommended to use fast and economical modes. If the baskets are filled to capacity, it is rational to use the automatic mode so that the PMM itself selects the necessary washing parameters.

Auxiliary capabilities of Siemens PMM

In addition to dishwasher algorithms, auxiliary useful functions are also built into the command center of the dishwasher. We will focus on the most striking examples to demonstrate the principle of their operation.

Automatic door opening.Surely everyone at least once forgot about the dishes in the dishwasher and they remained there for a long time. This can cause a musty smell and microbial growth. Automatic opening of the door immediately opens the hatch after washing and leaves a gap of 10-15 centimeters.

Signal about the end of the program. In the flow of everyday tasks, a loud reminder that the dishes have been washed can be very, very useful.

Illumination inside the PMM. If you happen to load or unload your camera in the evening or at night, this feature is very useful. Everything is visible perfectly, and you don’t even have to turn on the lights in the kitchen.illumination of the washing chamber PMM Siemens

Delay timer. Using this function, you only need to set the delay start time, put the dishes in the chamber and put in the detergent. After the allotted time, the PMM itself will start the wash, guide it through all stages and turn off upon completion.

This list of programs and functions is not complete. There are a lot of them, and over time more and more new technologies appear.
