• "40`40°". This function was developed to reduce the washing time by half - from 80 to 40 minutes due to the accelerated rotation of the drum. Carried out at temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius.
• "Delicate" mode. Designed for clothing made from the most delicate fabrics. The program is characterized by very smooth rotation of the drum, the weakest spin and low water temperature. We also note a large amount of liquid, due to which the powerful product is completely washed out of the clothes.
• "Children's" mode. The main advantages of the cycle are its high temperature of 60 degrees and several rinsing cycles, which is why the machine can perfectly wash the baby’s clothes.

This option is also perfect for allergy sufferers who cannot tolerate household chemicals.

• "Dark fabric"This function is characterized by an abundant supply of water and an extremely slow spin cycle, which is why manufacturers were able to ensure that the dark colors of the clothes remain saturated. It is important to additionally use special balms and gels to clean dark items.
• "Handwash". A mode with smooth rotation of the ram for items that are recommended to be washed by hand so as not to be deformed or torn. It is recommended to clean silk, viscose and cashmere items during this cycle.
• "Wool". The program was created specifically for processing woolen items, which in this working cycle not only do not deform, but also do not pill.
• "Pooh." Another option with a “speaking” name. The mode can be found in Haier washing machines, capable of washing 9 kilograms of clothes or more at a time. Cleans outerwear well, as well as clothes filled with feathers or down.
• "Shirts." A special program that allows you to wash away serious stains, while minimizing the creasing of things to make them easier to iron. Washing occurs with minimal spin and in not very hot water - from 30 to 40 degrees Celsius.
• "Fitness". Not the most common, but already popular function, intended for sportswear made of cotton, synthetics and other materials. It takes about an hour, heats the water to 40 degrees.
• "Eco 20°C". Economy mode for lightly soiled clothes. The main advantage of the cycle is its reduced power consumption - it spends 80% less kilowatts compared to conventional operating cycles.

For washing in cold water, it is better to use liquid detergents, as they are washed out much better than washing powder.

• It is also worth mentioning separately the self-cleaning mode, which is found in some Haier household appliances.Its duration is 120 minutes, during which the device manages to wash the drum, pipes, drain filter, as well as the detergent compartment, using water heated to 70 degrees.

Thus, just one basic set of programs is enough for any occasion, so it is not always worth buying expensive equipment with additional washing modes. The main thing is to choose the right operating cycle so as not to accidentally damage your favorite clothes by activating an inappropriate function.

Fast algorithms

Generally, the washing time for Haier SM is from 1 to 3 hours. Such a high duration may not suit some housewives, plus do not forget that sometimes such a cycle duration is simply unjustified, given the time, water and electricity spent. Especially for this case, the manufacturer always adds fast modes to its products that can handle washing in a short time. Among such programs it is worth highlighting the following:

• "Mini". Used to clean cotton items with minimal contamination. In this mode, the water is heated only to 30 degrees, but you can increase the heating to 90 degrees. At standard settings, the wash time is only 39 minutes;
• "Mini 14". It takes only 14 minutes of the user’s time, during which it quickly refreshes no more than 2 kilograms of clothes at a temperature of 30 degrees;
• “Mix 40°C.” The option is intended for clothing made from both natural and synthetic fabrics. The spin is performed at medium speed, the water temperature is 40 degrees.

Some types of machines have a separate button on the control panel that starts a seventeen-minute wash. This program was added specifically for not very dirty clothes made of any fabrics that just need to be refreshed by removing the unpleasant odor from them.
