How much conditioner should I put in my washing machine?

Although conditioner-rinse aid is not considered the primary detergent, but rather an addition to it, its dosage affects the quality of washed items no less. Add too little and there will be no effect, and the product will be wasted; if you overdo it, other unpleasant “symptoms” will arise. Finally, how much conditioner should you pour into your washing machine?

Determining the dose of conditioner

Rinse aids come from different companies and there is no single dosage recipe. If the original packaging of the conditioner has been preserved, it is worth looking for dosing information on it. Otherwise, you will have to rely on general advice. Popular opinion says that the only rule in this matter is: under no circumstances should you fill the conditioner above the mark in the special compartment of the dispenser.

Some housewives worry that for a drum that is not filled to capacity with laundry, such a dose of conditioner may be excessive. If you are afraid of overdoing it, take this proportion as a model: if the drum is half full, then pour the conditioner half of the amount marked in the tray as the maximum.

Some manufacturers make the caps of conditioner bottles in the form of cups. Then you can pour one such cup into the machine for one wash cycle, if the rinse aid is not concentrated.
