  • clog in the drain system. To start spinning, the washing machine must remove waste water from the tank into the sewer.If the liquid drainage is obstructed, the machine will not begin to spin the laundry.   • failed control module. The electronic unit may be damaged due to power surges. Also, the board breaks due to moisture getting on it.

Most damage can be repaired with your own hands. For example, there is nothing difficult about replacing a pressure switch or cleaning the elements of the drain system. But if you do not have experience working with electronics, it is better to entrust the repair of the motor and control module to specialists. If the machine is new and still under warranty, call a technician immediately, don’t even try to disassemble the SMA yourself.

There is too much dirt inside the machine

If the machine cannot start spinning, check the drainage system elements. Perhaps a blockage has formed somewhere and the flow of water into the sewer is difficult. Therefore, the machine does not proceed to the next washing stage.

First, inspect the garbage filter. It is located at the bottom of the machine, behind the false panel. Before unscrewing the element, cover the floor under the washer with dry rags, because water may flow out of the hole. The pressure switch is "jamming"

Often the problem is the clogged pressure switch pipes, but the water level sensor may fail completely. You can diagnose the element yourself:

  • turn off the power to the machine, disconnect it from the water supply and sewerage;
  • remove the top panel of the case;
  • find the pressure switch;there was a problem with the pressure switch
  • disconnect the wires from the level sensor;
  • remove the clamps and remove the pressure switch;
  • inspect the sensor, blow into its pipe. If the part is working properly, you will hear clicking sounds.

A damaged pressure switch cannot be repaired; the part will need to be replaced.You should buy components based on the model of your Samsung washing machine.
