Don't neglect caring for your equipment

In order for the actual service life to be about 10 years or more, it is necessary to properly care for the equipment. Basic care recommendations are also the most basic to implement - open the machine door after each operating cycle for ventilation, and also wipe all surfaces dry to avoid the formation of mold and unpleasant odors. As for more serious prevention, it should be carried out at least once a quarter. What do we have to do?

First, turn off the power to the “home assistant” and disconnect it from all communications.
Remove the household chemical cuvette and wash it thoroughly in hot water and soap. If plaque or mold has already formed on the detergent tray, then additionally treat the element with a sponge.
Disconnect the inlet hose from the washing machine and rinse it with a powerful stream of hot water from the tap.
Remove the filter mesh and rinse it with hot water to remove dirt.
Clean the machine's drain filter, located in the lower right corner of the machine, hidden by the decorative panel. To do this, you need to cover the floors with rags or towels, and place a water container under the machine. Only after this can you open the plug, wait until all the water comes out of the washer, and then rinse the filter and the walls of the hole from debris, plaque and other contaminants.
Check the condition of the rubber drum seal, which should be free of cracks, debris and mold.
Try turning the drum with your own hands - it should rotate without difficulty, but with a little tension. Listen to the sounds the container makes - there should be no creaking or metallic grinding.

When a “home assistant” makes strange sounds during diagnostics or work, this is a reason to seek help from a service center specialist.

Inspect the drain hose for blockages and damage. If the element is solid, then rinse it under strong pressure from the tap.

If anomalies are observed in the operation of the machine

Prepare a few unnecessary rags or towels in advance.
Unscrew the fixing bolts of the top cover of the machine and remove it.
Repeat the previous step with the back wall of the case.
Find counterweights - these concrete blocks must be intact, without cracks or small chips. Try to apply light pressure on the blocks to make sure that the elements are securely secured with bolts. If the counterweights are not securely fastened, the fastenings must be strengthened. If the blocks are damaged, they will have to be replaced.
Check the tension of the drive belt - it should not fly off.If this happens, then it is permissible to either replace it with an analogue, or wash, dry and treat it with pine rosin.
At the bottom of the machine, check the shock absorbers, which should be elastic. For reliability, it is worth treating the springs with graphite lubricant.
Get to the water heating element and clean it of deposits. To do this, you must first disconnect the wires connected to the part, loosen the holding central nut and remove the heating element. Plaque can be easily removed with a sponge or brush after soaking the element in a vinegar solution.

Be sure to take a photo of the wiring before disconnecting it, so that when assembling you have an example of the correct connection of the wires at hand.

Examine all sensors and wires that must be undamaged.
Finally, feel all the tubes that go from the dispenser to the tank, as well as the fill valve. All of the listed elements must be not only intact, but also dry.
