Let's figure out whether it is permissible to dry thermal underwear in a dryer.

Will automatic drying work?

After the water stops draining, the item must be moved to the open air. Please note that if clothing is made from cotton materials, it will take much longer to dry than synthetic products.

Regardless of the materials, do not try to speed up the drying of thermal underwear using household appliances or other improvised means.

It is not always possible to dry things in the open air. If indoor drying is the only option, be sure to avoid placing laundry near open heat sources.

At the same time, you cannot dry thermal underwear during severe frost. This is due to the fact that if the temperature is significantly below zero, the water will very quickly turn into ice. Mistakes when caring for thermal underwear

Unfortunately, users very often make mistakes during washing and drying, which is why the laundry loses its thermal insulation properties. This happens due to damage to the fabric fibers - the threads stick together, and the pores, which are responsible for removing moisture, become clogged. Clothes are also damaged by chemicals that make them loose and brittle.

In order for thermal underwear to always retain heat well, you should remember or write down the classic mistakes of a beginner, avoiding which high-quality products will retain heat resistance for many years. Here's what not to do:

• boil clothes;
• wash products at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius;
• use dry cleaning, dyes and other chemicals;
• use serious stain removers for cleaning;
• spin clothes at high speeds in an automatic washing machine;
• do not use a special protective net during washing;
• Dry thermal underwear in an automatic dryer.

As you can see, there are not many mistakes, so they are easy to avoid.

Is ironing contraindicated?

If we are talking about linen made of synthetic fabric, then ironing is strictly prohibited. If you try to iron such clothes even at minimum power, their synthetic fibers will simply melt. Because of this, the complex structure of the fabric will be disrupted, it will lose its appearance and all its beneficial properties. Therefore, products with artificial threads should never be ironed.

If the linen is made of wool, then ironing is permissible, but only through a cotton pad and at the temperature indicated on the iron itself. Moreover, if the item is made using wool and synthetics, then it cannot be ironed. It is also better not to iron polyester clothing.

Finally, it is also not recommended to iron fleece items after washing. As a result of the procedure, such clothes will simply lose their velvety, airiness, as well as heat and water resistance.
