How to change the pump of an Electrolux washing machine?

In a washing unit, the pump has one of the most basic functions. After the equipment is completed, it pumps out dirty, used water. A specialist will carry out repairs efficiently and quickly, but his services will have a certain cost. If you decide to work with your own hands, you will only spend money on the pump, but it will take a lot of time. Before replacing the pump, you also need to rule out other faults. Typically, if the pump breaks down, the washing machine:

• does not drain water at the end of the working cycle;
• makes a lot of noise when draining;
• may stop in the middle of operation without draining the water.

For repairs you will need: screwdrivers, pliers (for removing clamps), a screwdriver, a multimeter. A multimeter is needed to check the functionality of the pump. The pump is disconnected from the cochlea with a slight rotation. Before changing the pump, thoroughly clean the seat of dirt so that the mechanism holds as firmly as possible.

When purchasing, be sure to take into account the technical characteristics and appearance of the old part (the location of the fasteners and protrusions must match).

The new pump is placed on the grooves of the volute and shifted to the left until it stops until a click appears. Now you can connect the washing machine to the communications and run a test wash without laundry in fast mode.
