Where to put powder in Haier washing machine

Today, automatic washing machines have become such a common household appliance that no one should have questions about their operation. However, not every housewife is fluent in “home assistants” of all brands. Therefore, it is quite logical that not everyone knows where to put the powder in a Haier washing machine. But the savings in household chemicals, as well as the quality of washing, directly depend on this initial action. Let's look at this important point in detail.

Finding the powder compartment

If the user has never worked with a CM from the Haier brand, then problems may begin already at the stage of searching for a powder receiver. The fact is that the tray in the technology of this company is slightly different from similar compartments in other devices. To find the compartment you need:

• stand facing the control panel of the washing machine;
• find a box for household chemicals to the left of the panel;
• push it all the way;

Depending on the model, the configuration of the compartments may be the same as in equipment from other brands.

• Please note that the compartment where you need to fill the conditioner is located exactly in the middle, the pre-wash compartment is located on the right, and the place for the main work cycle is allocated to the left.

In rare cases, the powder receptacle in Haier units may look completely different - with a large oval compartment in the center. In this case, the oval compartment is intended for the main washing stage, so the powder will need to be poured into it, and not into the compartment on the left.This detergent compartment configuration means there will be a pre-wash compartment to the right of the oval center and a conditioner area to the left.

Additionally, it is worth noting the unusual powder receptacle in the HW80B-14686 model and other devices in the series, where a special feature of the tray is its four compartments instead of three. The powder should be poured into the large back compartment, which is usually made of plain white plastic. The round central compartment, made of blue plastic, holds bleach, which must be added when activating the cotton and synthetic cycles. The remaining two compartments at the front of the powder receptacle are for conditioner (on the right) and liquid detergent (on the left).

Finally, let’s note the most basic trays for household chemicals, which are slightly less common than all the previously described options. These trays have only two compartments. On the left there is a large one, necessary for powder, and on the right there is a colored one - you need to pour conditioner into it.

Is it possible to pour powder into the drum?

Experts rarely agree when this issue is raised, but most often they agree with appliance manufacturers. Company representatives believe that washing powder should never be poured directly into the drum, because it is necessary to use a detergent dispenser. What are the arguments?

• If you pour powder directly into the drum before washing black or dark clothes, the household chemicals will dissolve directly on the items, causing white spots to appear on them.
• If you pour the product not on things, but under them, then even during the start of the program most of the powder will go down the drain along with the water that the pump will pump out of the tank.This is due to the fact that there is always some water left in the tank after washing, which must be removed before starting a new working cycle.
• Most work cycles are designed so that the detergent will be washed out of the powder receptacle in small portions at different stages of the wash, and not all at once. Therefore, such modes will not be able to use their full potential if you add the powder to the drum, where it will dissolve all at once.

Of course, there are also disadvantages to using standard powder cuvettes. We are talking about detergent that partially remains in the dispenser after the operating cycle due to an unsuccessful dispenser design. This deficiency is mainly found in old “home assistants”.

To cope with this problem, it is enough to purchase a special plastic container for powder, which must be placed directly in the CM drum. Very often it can be found complete with a washing machine, but even if the device was not in the package, this is not a reason to be upset. Containers like these can easily be found for a few dollars, so it's definitely not worth skimping on. Moreover, you can use special washing balls with it to improve the efficiency of the washing machine even more.
