Program drawings

Modern washing machines have simplified symbols for available operating modes. They are located directly on the dashboard of the washer. The signs are quite simple and are often familiar to users of other washing machines, because they are very similar. True, if you previously had an old model, and even from a different manufacturer, difficulties may arise.

Important! You can find out the meaning of the images on the panel of the Beko machine in the instructions supplied with it.

The old type of washing machine has several dozen of its own designations. Such symbols are also found in some modern models, but, as a rule, the symbolism is different. First of all, divide the existing icons into two groups, basic and additional. Basic programs look like this in notation.

  • Pre-wash Cotton 90O involves pre-soaking. First, the laundry is kept at a low temperature. This mode is quite expensive in terms of electricity and time; it lasts 1 hour 58 minutes.
  • Cotton 90O, this program simulates boiling natural fabrics. Washing lasts 1 hour 50 minutes.
  • Cotton 60O Designed for bed linen and clothes made of natural fabric with heavy soiling. Duration 1 hour 35 minutes.
  • Cotton 40O allows you to wash lightly soiled natural fabrics. The program lasts 1 hour 25 minutes.
  • Intensive wash 60O for significant contamination. The duration is longer than 2 hours 40 minutes due to soaking and repeated rinsing.
  • Children's underwear 65O washes in 2 hours 10 minutes. Such a long wash occurs due to rinsing.
  • Short program 30O used for quick washing of lightly soiled items. It should be chosen when you need to freshen up your clothes.
  • Delicate wash 40O Designed for washing delicate fabrics. It lasts 1 hour 10 minutes.
  • Delicate wash 30O similar to the above, but the duration is slightly shorter - 1 hour 5 minutes;
  • Hand wash 30O Allows you to wash delicate fabrics. Gentleness is achieved through gentle drum movements and low temperatures. The program lasts 40 minutes.Program drawings
  • Washing wool without heat takes 45 minutes. The drum rotates slowly, the spin is not strong.
  • Wool washing 40O - essentially the same program with a slightly higher temperature and a duration of 55 minutes.
  • Program Mix 40O allows you to avoid separating laundry when washing.
  • Synthetic 30O Designed for synthetic and combined fabrics.
  • Synthetic 40O also used for washing items made from non-natural materials. The program lasts 1 hour 45 minutes.
  • Synthetic 60O – the same mode, but with higher temperature and duration, 1 hour 55 minutes.
  • Pre-wash synthetics 60O takes longer, 2 hours 5 minutes. This happens due to additional soaking.

Attention! When choosing a mode, you must be guided by the type of laundry you load into the machine.

This must be taken into account, otherwise it’s easy to ruin things. Also, do not neglect sorting clothes before loading them into the drum. Such simple recommendations will help preserve the color and appearance of your laundry for as long as possible.

Auxiliary modes

In addition to the main washing modes, there are also auxiliary ones. They consist of only one action and help to get the best result. Other notations will allow you to figure out exactly what process is going on at the moment. Let's look at the main signs used in the Beko washing machine.

  • Canceling the mode will help you cancel an incorrectly set program.
  • Delay start allows you to postpone washing for a certain time. For example, you can delay the start by 3, 6 and 9 hours.
  • Start/Pause/Stop are used to start the process, pause it and end it.
  • Shorter wash cycle for quick results.
  • The crease-free spin allows you to gently wring out your laundry.
  • The door open button is an indicator that allows you to understand whether the washing machine hatch is locked or not.
  • Washing - this sign on the panel indicates that the machine is currently washing.
  • An additional rinse and a Rinse will get rid of any remaining powder. The program lasts about 20 minutes.
  • Spinning takes 11 minutes. The correct choice of this function will preserve the appearance of things and make ironing easier.
  • Draining will help get rid of excess water if a malfunction occurs.

By matching the signs with the symbols on the display or front panel, you can determine the current state of the washing machine. Some Beko washing machines have a special hint located on the plastic panel. You can find it when opening the washing powder tray.
