Error E07 in Kandy washing machine

Error E07 in Kandy washing machineIf the Candy washing machine displays error E07, it means that the electronic unit has failed, the UBL has broken down, or there is a problem with the motor. There is no need to immediately grab a screwdriver - first it is better to try to reset the settings by turning off the equipment and turning it on after 10 minutes. Repeated display will confirm the seriousness of the situation - you will have to stop the cycle and begin diagnosing the machine.

"Symptoms" of the error

manifestation of an error in the Kandy technique The fault code “E07” appears at the very beginning of the cycle or at its end. On some Candy models, this error is displayed on the display a little differently, with the combination “E7”, “Err7”, “Err07” or “Error7”. Before malfunctioning, washing machines “signal” with other signs:

  • during washing, rinsing and spinning in each mode, the drum is motionless;
  • the drum rotates only in one direction;
  • after starting, the drum immediately accelerates;
  • At the end of the cycle, the hatch does not open.

Error “E07” is often displayed as “E7”, “Err 7”, “Err 07” or “Error 7”.

Other “deviations” of the machine from standard washing are also possible. Ideally, it is necessary to monitor the behavior of the equipment and record on paper all changes in its operation. It is advisable to write down at what minutes the “symptoms” appear and their duration. This makes it easier to determine the location of the breakdown and its nature.

Displaying the code on equipment without a display

If Candy does not have a display, the system will report an error with the appropriate indication. In simple words, some dashboard lights will flash synchronously a certain number of times. In the case of fault code "E07", the LEDs will light up seven times in a row.Afterwards the buttons will go out for 6-12 seconds, after which the series of flashes will repeat.

Which light bulbs will indicate a failure depends on the Candy model:

  • on the Grand series washing machine, the “Intensive Wash” LED (depicted as a T-shirt with a stain) and the first left indicator in the wash time line will light up (in most cases, position “90”);

When error E07 occurs, the indication occurs in a series of 7 times.

  • Smart line equipment signals a problem with “Intensive wash” and the “90” or “Start” position in the column with a reverse timer;
  • Kandy Holiday and Aquamatic models indicate E07 by flashing the “Wash in cold water” light, which is indicated by a snowflake.

manifestation of error F07 on Kandy without display

It’s better not to guess, but to open the factory instructions, find the section with error codes and compare the indications with the examples given in the manual. It will also be described in detail what to do in each case and the consequences of continuing operation without repair.

Why did the code appear?

Error E07 indicates problems with the UBL or problems with the engine. Less often, the combination is displayed due to a technical failure in the module. In any case, it is first recommended to check the “seriousness” of the malfunction: unplug the power cord from the power outlet for 10-15 minutes and thereby reset the system settings. The machine will probably reboot and its operation will be restored. If the code appears again, then you cannot do without repairs and diagnostics - you will have to test the “sore points” of the equipment.

As practice shows, certain breakdowns lead to the appearance of “E07”.

  1. UBL malfunction. In addition to the error, another “symptom” appears on the display - the hatch door does not open. Most likely, you will have to replace the broken blocker.the tachogenerator has failed
  2. Damaged wiring. A blocked hatch or a stationary drum will indicate this.The connection between the control board and the blocker or motor is lost, the signal is interrupted and does not reach the recipient, which is why the machine is “silent” and displays “E07”. The breakdown can be corrected by restoring the integrity of the circuit, stripping and soldering the contacts.
  3. Problems with the tachogenerator. In this case, the drum does not spin at all or, after the start of the cycle, it immediately accelerates to maximum speeds. The reason is a faulty Hall sensor, which has stopped controlling engine speed or has lost communication with the control module. The device must be tested and, if necessary, replaced.
  4. Worn bearing assembly. Here, an error is always foreshadowed by a strong roar, increased vibration and a sudden stop of the drum. Over time, the bearings and oil seal are gradually destroyed, the lubricant is washed out, the shaft jams, and play occurs with all that it implies. Often the situation is aggravated by a worn-out tank cross. There is only one way out - replace all damaged elements.
  5. Failure in the control module. It is characterized by all the symptoms described above: from a hatch that does not open to a chaotically rotating drum. Probably, the microcircuits on the board have deteriorated, which is why the system has lost contact with key components of the equipment. The situation can only be corrected by specialists who use special equipment to ring the electronic unit, identify burnt-out elements and replace them with new ones. In severe cases, the panel changes completely.

Repairing the board yourself is risky - it’s better to immediately contact a service center!

Error “E07” does not always indicate serious system failures. It’s better not to guess, but to immediately call a specialist, especially if the machine is still under warranty.
