If necessary, you can forcibly cancel washing in a Samsung washing machine and stop the cycle at any point. The only problem is that when forced to stop, the machine will not unlock the door, but will “freeze” waiting for further action. What to do next depends on the task assigned to the housewife. But for this you will have to consider all possible options with instructions and recommendations.

Step-by-step instruction

If you urgently need to get things out of the machine, then one stop will not be enough. After canceling the wash, it is necessary to drain the water, unlock the door and only then enter the drum. In step-by-step instructions it looks like this:

• find the “Start/Stop” button on the dashboard;
• after waiting for the stop, press the “Drain” button;
• wait 1-2 minutes required to empty the drum;
• At the end of the program, open the hatch and take out the laundry.

On a Samsung washing machine, the hatch is automatically locked 3-4 minutes after the end of the drain program.

Some Samsung models do not have a separate “Drain” button. In this case, you must first turn on “Spin”, and after 1-2 minutes adjust the command to the “No spin” position. There is no contradiction - Korean technology will “understand” that you only need to empty the drum.

After the UBL is activated, you will have to drain the water from the drum manually. To do this, we find a technical hatch in the lower right part of the case, open it with a flat screwdriver and unscrew the garbage filter. Be prepared for waste water to pour out of the hole.

Emergency situations

Emergency situations often force you to cancel the washing cycle. So, the machine stops washing if there is a sudden power outage. In this case, you just need to wait - modern Samsung can remember the stopping place and continue the cycle in a given mode when the electricity is turned on.

Pulling the plug of a running washing machine from the socket is allowed only in extreme cases - the system reacts sharply to voltage changes!

If the machine freezes and does not respond to user commands, it is better to unplug the unit from the outlet and restart it after 15-20 minutes. Rebooting the system resets the wash, after which control can be restored. When it freezes again, you should complete the cycle and call a service center specialist.

In situations where it is necessary to urgently leave the apartment, it is also recommended to forcefully end the cycle. Leaving washing machines running unattended is extremely dangerous - the machine may catch fire or leak.
