It’s not enough to take a newly purchased car home. Before you throw in the laundry and start the cycle, you must perform a number of mandatory manipulations described in the factory instructions. Failure to do so threatens not only the things that need washing, but also the equipment itself - it may break and fail. In order not to lose the machine, the first start of the Candy washing machine must follow the rules. We will tell you in detail what nuances we are talking about.

Is the machine “unpreserved”?

The first launch of the machine will go smoothly and without consequences if you follow the instructions. Therefore, the first step is to carefully study the user manual with the rules for operating the equipment. We immediately understand how to control the car: we decipher the icons on the dashboard, get acquainted with the modes and options.

Afterwards, prepare the machine for washing using the following steps:

• adjust the position of the washing machine;
• we establish communications;
• remove the transport bolts;
• clean the drum;
• remove factory stickers.

Now in more detail on each point. Ideally, a washing machine should be installed by specialists. It's important to get it right adjust the position of the housing and securely fasten the clamps to the drain and inlet hoses. Otherwise, the washing machine will “jump” around the room, and weak fasteners will fall off and lead to leaks.

The second step is to remove the transport bolts. These are long screws that secure the tank in a stationary position, preventing it from becoming loose and damaged during long-distance transportation.But it is forbidden to start the machine without removing them - the motor will try to spin the stationary drum, the latter will resist, and the cylinder itself, the shaft, bearings, shock absorption and other neighboring components will suffer. Therefore, the clamps must be removed: first they are loosened, then pushed deeper, and a special plastic plug is inserted into the hole. Damage to the machine after washing with transportation bolts is not considered a warranty case.

Next, we look at the “cleanliness” of the machine. It is necessary to carefully remove all extraneous stickers and tape from the case, as well as plastic ties and foam blocks. Be sure to look into the drum, where the parts included in the Candy package are often located. It is important to clean everything and wipe the machine with a dry cloth.

After all the steps, the machine will be ready for the first wash. However, it is too early to load things into the drum - first you need to carry out a technical launch. What is this and what is it for, we will consider further.

Mandatory test activation

Having prepared the machine and studied the instructions, you can begin the technical launch. The washing machine is turned on in the standard way: the power cable is inserted into the socket, the water supply tap is turned and the “Start” button is pressed. However, the test cycle has several differences from a regular wash.

The technical cycle is a “idle” wash, in simple words, starting with an empty drum. With it you can:

• wash off the factory grease and remove the unpleasant odor characteristic of new equipment;
• check the serviceability of the machine (whether water is drawn in the required volume, whether the pump is working, whether the washing machine is making a lot of noise, whether there is suspicious vibration, etc.).

Technical start-up is carried out with an empty drum and with the addition of detergent!

An empty drum is a prerequisite for the first launch. If you load things into the drum, the result can be disastrous: the laundry will be stained with grease or not washed due to a manufacturing defect. It’s wiser not to take risks, but to idle the machine. Detergent must be added to better clean the inside of the machine.

If during the first wash a manufacturing defect is noticed: a leak, a program failure, weak spin or other malfunctions, you must end the cycle ahead of schedule and call a repairman. Setting up equipment

For an idle start, any mode is suitable, the main thing is to turn on the high-temperature and long-lasting mode. For subsequent washes, the choice of program depends on the type and color of the fabric of the clothes being washed. Finding a suitable cycle is not difficult - modern Candy machines offer a wide variety of options and functions.

The purpose of most modes can be guessed intuitively, especially if the user previously owned a washing machine. But it’s better not to guess and not rely on your logic, but to carefully study the decoding of the dashboard icons using the instructions. The manual must describe all present modes, indicating temperature, duration, spin intensity and other parameters.

Having understood the modes, you can start the washer according to the following scheme:

• connect to electricity;
• turn on the water supply tap;
• sort the laundry and load it into the drum (remember the maximum and minimum load weight);
• close the door until it clicks;
• add powder or gel;
• choose a suitable program;
• if desired, adjust the cycle parameters manually;
• press “Start” and wait for the machine to start operating.

Then you just have to wait for the cycle to complete. As a rule, Candy machines signal the end of the program with a final melody. True, the hatch can be opened 2-3 minutes after the signal - for safety reasons, the electronic locking is released with a slight delay.

Detergent stash

Without detergent, things cannot be washed properly. But you need to correctly add the concentrate to the washing machine so that the powder is not washed out immediately, but is dosed into the drum. For these purposes, the machines provide a dispensary or, in simple words, a powder receptacle. It is located in the upper left part of the case and opens if you grab the protrusion and pull the tray towards you.

When using detergents, it is worth remembering a few nuances:

• Only products marked “automatic” on the package are suitable for machine washing;
• Only high-quality and natural compositions are selected;
• for delicate fabrics, gels are used that dissolve better in cold water;
• the powder and gel are dosed correctly (using a measuring cup or cap);
• There should be a detergent in the house for both white, black and colored laundry;
• Do not confuse the powder receptacle compartments (the left compartment is for the main program, the right one is for prewash, the central one is for additional liquids, softeners, bleaches).

It is important to dose the detergent correctly: using too little will not remove stains, and too much will lead to increased foaming!

It is also possible to use modern detergents on Candy - cleaning wipes or gel capsules. These devices are placed directly into the drum and are characterized by concentrated action and safety. However, their cost is much higher than that of regular powder or gel.
