Mix program in a Beko washing machine

Mix program in the Beko washing machineThe set of programs on most modern automatic machines is approximately the same. However, each manufacturer has its own unique algorithms. For example, Beko washing machines have a “Mix” mode. Let's figure out what its peculiarity is, what opportunities it opens up for users.

Features of the Mix algorithm

Owners of Beko washing machines note that this program greatly simplifies the process of caring for laundry. Using the “Mix” mode, you can wash synthetic, linen and cotton items at the same time. Clothes do not need to be pre-sorted by type of material - the algorithm ensures high quality washing of any fabric, both natural and mixed.

Thanks to a smart algorithm stored in the memory of Beko washing machines, users are freed from the need to wash synthetics and cotton separately. This makes washing much faster. Let’s look at the main parameters of the “Mix” mode (typical for models with a capacity of 6 kg).

  • Water heating temperature – 40°C.
  • The maximum permissible drum load is 3 kg of dry laundry.
  • Cycle duration is 115 minutes.Mix on a Beko machine
  • Water consumption – 45 liters.
  • The maximum spin speed is 800 rpm.
  • Electricity consumption – 0.50 kW/h.

The “Mix” mode is universal; you can connect any additional function provided in the SMA intelligence to it.

We are talking about the options for pre- and quick wash, “Extra rinse”, “Easy ironing”, “Soak”, “Pet hair removal”. It should be understood that when activating any auxiliary function, the program execution time will change.

Other modes of the Beko machine

In addition to the universal “Mix” mode, the Beko washing machine also has other algorithms designed to care for certain types of fabrics. The intellect contains both more delicate programs for washing silk and wool, and high-temperature cycles for processing children's clothes, bed linen, etc.

A detailed description of all washing modes is presented in the instructions for the Beko washing machine.

We'll tell you what modes are available on most Beko models. Let us describe the main parameters of each algorithm.

  • Cotton. Standard mode designed for washing cotton items. Implies the ability to select the degree of water heating: 40°C, 60°C or 90°C. The cycle duration varies from 98 to 147 minutes, electricity consumption from 0.85 to 2.25 kW/h, depending on the set temperature. When running this algorithm, the maximum load of the machine is possible (each model has its own permissible weight). Water consumption – 66 liters.
  • Cotton Eco. This algorithm corresponds to the “Cotton 60” mode, but has a longer duration – 205 minutes. Despite the long cycle, water consumption does not exceed 45 liters, and energy consumption is 1.13 kW/h, which is very economical compared to the standard program. The maximum possible drum load is allowed; the water heating temperature is 60°C.
  • Mini. The algorithm was created specifically for washing small quantities of lightly soiled cotton clothes. At a temperature of 30°C, the cycle duration will be only 28 minutes, at 60°C – 58 minutes, at 90°C – 88 minutes. Water consumption – 55 liters.
  • Dark fabrics. Used to clean dark and bright colored laundry that may fade. The water is heated to a maximum of 40°C, the cycle lasts 107 minutes.
  • Woolen fabrics.Delicate mode designed for washing wool clothes. The water is heated to 40°C, the spin speed is minimal. If necessary, you can activate the “No spin” function. Only 1.5 kg of dry laundry is allowed to be loaded into the drum (for machines with a capacity of 6 kg). The cycle takes 1 hour.
  • Kids clothes. A program created specifically for the care of children's clothing and items for allergy sufferers. Due to high-temperature treatment (washing is done in water heated to 90°C), all bacteria and allergens present in the fabric fibers are destroyed. In addition, this algorithm provides an additional rinsing step. The cycle duration is 2 hours 45 minutes. The spin is performed at maximum speed.description of SM Beko programs from the instructions
  • Synthetics. A standard algorithm designed for caring for products made from synthetic and mixed fabrics. Two temperature modes are possible, 40 or 60 degrees. The cycle duration will be 106 or 116 minutes, respectively.
  • Manual 20. Mode providing the most gentle care. Washing is done in cold water for 43 minutes, spinning occurs at minimum speed, and can be turned off if necessary. Suitable for delicate items labeled “Do Not Machine Washable.”
  • Jeans. The algorithm was created for washing items made from denim. Smooth rotation of the drum and low spin speed ensure gentle care of clothes. The cycle lasts on average 105 minutes.

Water consumption and energy consumption will vary depending on the Beko washing machine model, the values presented are typical for machines with a capacity of 6 kg.

Each model has its own set of programs. In addition to the basic modes, in washing machines Beko provides useful add-ons that can improve the quality of your wash. What functions are we talking about?

  • Soak. Connects when washing very dirty items. The clothes are soaked in water with detergent for several minutes to “soak” old stains.
  • Quick wash. This option can be connected to the “Cotton”, “Synthetics” and “Mix” programs if lightly soiled items are placed in the machine. This is done to reduce the execution time of the main algorithm.
  • Easy ironing. When this option is activated, the drum rotates more smoothly, resulting in less wrinkled items.
  • Additional rinse. It is connected to the main cycle when it is necessary to completely wash out the powder from the fabric fibers.
  • Removing animal hair. When the function is started, a pre-wash and rinse phase is added to the main cycle. In addition, 30% more water is drawn into the drum than provided by the standard mode settings.

A user who understands the settings of each algorithm will be able to accurately select a washing mode, focusing on the type of fabric and degree of contamination. Do not neglect additional functions - they can provide even better care for things.
