In a modern machine, the number of modes usually exceeds a two-digit number, and each of them can be suitable for one type of fabric and be destructive for another. The user does not require any additional settings, because you just need to select a mode using a separate button or programmer. Basically, Vestel household appliances provide the following operating cycles:

• Cotton. Standard program suitable for cotton, calico and linen items such as bed linen, pajamas, shirts and towels. In this mode, the machine heats the water to 60-90 degrees Celsius, and during the spin cycle the drum accelerates to maximum speed. Washing time ranges from 90 to 150 minutes.
• Synthetics. Another classic mode, created for synthetic and mixed fabrics, allowing you to safely wash items made from artificial fibers.The water temperature reaches 60 degrees, during the spin cycle the drum also spins up to maximum, and the operating time varies from 60 to 120 minutes.
• Prewash. It is chosen if there are old stubborn stains on the clothes, so the item must first be soaked in warm water with washing powder. The program first allows the detergent to penetrate deeper into the fabric, then washes the items for about an hour, and then automatically activates the main wash.

Be sure to add household chemicals to both detergent compartments if you plan to use the prewash.

• Delicate wash. A program specifically for the most delicate and delicate fabrics such as silk, lace, organza and satin. In this operating cycle, the machine will slowly rotate the drum, use more water and heat the water no higher than 30 degrees Celsius. Operating time is approximately an hour.
• Intensive wash. A function for processing the dirtiest things that the normal mode cannot handle. The program heats the water to 95 degrees, sharply rotates the drum and lasts about 120 minutes, which allows you to remove even the most difficult stains and dirt. The most important thing is to wash only clothes made of thick fabric that can withstand high temperatures and strong friction.
• Quick wash. One of the lightest cycles that refreshes clothes rather than cleans them. It lasts from 15 to 45 minutes and heats the water no more than 40 degrees Celsius.
• Children's wash. Designed for processing children's clothes, therefore it occurs in very hot water, with copious rinsing and intense rotation of the drum. It is noteworthy that the regime not only cleans clothes from any contaminants, but also disinfects them.

Due to the thorough disinfection, the washing mode for baby’s clothes is also well suited for cleaning the laundry of allergy sufferers who are intolerant to household chemicals.

• Sport. Function for washing sportswear, thermal underwear, as well as spandex, stretch and membrane. The program allows you to clean the fabric, remove the smell of sweat and not damage the special sports material. In addition, it is in this mode that you can wash sneakers that are pre-packaged in a separate bag for washing shoes.
• Night wash. An unusual mode, distinguished by its silence, which is achieved by the absence of system sounds and the presence of a quiet spin.
• Biophase. Cycle to remove all stains of organic origin. The most important thing in this mode is not to forget to add special detergents based on enzymes.
• Easy ironing. Allows you to spend less time on ironing, or not spend it at all. The drum rotates so smoothly and the spin cycle is so slow that the clothes in the drum hardly wrinkle and remain slightly damp, which is why wrinkles practically do not appear on them.
• Rinsing. If you need additional rinsing of things to remove dirt or household chemical residues, you can run it separately.
• Spin. The same as with the previous mode - if you need to additionally squeeze things out for 5 minutes, then you need to run this option.

This completes the main list of modes. Some Vestel models may have other functions, but most often this type of set is found in cars.

Any household appliance always comes with a user manual, which is worth reading. In it you can find a description of the icons on the SM control panel, a description of operating modes and a list of operating rules.Follow them all so that the machine lasts a long time.

In addition to following the rules, it is very important to correctly activate the washing machine for the first time. Under no circumstances should you immediately try to wash dirty clothes in it; instead, you should do a dry run without any clothes.
