Mixed fabrics program in the washing machine

select the mixed fabric programMany people today prefer clothing made from mixed fabrics. It is accessible, practical, and low in cost. To care for such things, LG washing machines have a mode of the same name. Let's talk about the features of this washing program.

How does this algorithm work?

The “Mixed Fabrics” mode in the washing machine is designed to care for combined materials that combine both artificial and natural fibers. To prevent shrinkage, wash at low temperature – 30-40°C. It is possible to manually increase the temperature to 60 degrees, but some synthetic fabrics can become deformed in hot water, so you need to be careful with this.

If you are in doubt about the washing temperature, always look at the item's label. It indicates not only the composition of the fabric, but also the permissible temperature conditions. If the clothes are not heavily soiled, it is better to limit yourself to the standard 30-40 degrees for the “Mixed Fabrics” mode.

By default, the spin mode “Mixed fabrics” is performed at a speed of 800 rpm.

The spin speed can also be adjusted either down or up. However, increasing the speed can lead to deformation of the fabric, so it is better not to take risks.additional rinse

The “Mixed fabrics” algorithm can be connected to some auxiliary functions provided on your LG washing machine, for example, “Extra rinse” or “Easy ironing”. Then there will be fewer creases on things and the powder from the fibers will be completely washed out.

Mixed fabrics can be loaded into the LG washing machine even if the Smart does not have a Mixed Fabrics program. It is enough to select a similar mode, with a cycle temperature of up to 40°C and spin speed up to 800 rpm. The result will be no worse.

What kind of fabric is this?

Mixed fabrics are accessible, durable and low cost. Combined materials have unique characteristics, so such clothing retains its appearance and properties even after several years of constant use. To wear your favorite things for a long time, you need to take proper care of them. The manufacturer provides all care recommendations on the product label.

Blended fabrics include fabrics that contain several types of fibers.

Materials can be made from artificial and natural fibers. It is very difficult to name the percentage of threads - new, improved textiles with improved properties are constantly being invented and introduced into the market. The following are sewn from mixed fabrics:types of mixed fabrics

  • home clothes;
  • underwear;
  • a uniform;
  • sportswear;
  • tourist uniform;
  • outerwear, etc.

Mixed fabrics are very common in Russia and the world. Let's talk about mixtures most often used in light industry.

  • Taslan. Mixed fabric consisting of polyamide, complemented by rep weaving, reinforcing threads and fishing line. There is also a protective impregnation here. The material is very wear-resistant and not subject to deformation.
  • Duspo. Blended fabric consisting of polyamide, complemented by plain weaving. To make the material less subject to wear, it is treated with protective impregnation.
  • Tisi. The mixture contains cotton and polyester fibers. This is a “breathable” fabric, it does not wrinkle, and is resistant to puffs and creases.Often used when sewing uniforms, in particular medical suits.
  • Taffeta. This is a stretchy fabric with shine. The material shimmers in the light. Combines polyester and nylon fibers.
  • Oxford. Contains nylon and polyester. Synthetic fibers are supplemented with moisture-proof impregnation. Often used when sewing outerwear.
  • Memory. Unique memory fabric. It contains synthetic fibers, but there are variations with the addition of cotton threads. The ratio of natural and artificial fibers should be no more than 30 to 70, otherwise the material will lose its ability to “remember”.

This is only a small part of the existing mixed materials. However, all these fabrics are washed the same way - on the same mode, at a temperature of no more than 40 degrees. You should spin things at a speed of no more than 800 rpm.
