How to use Vanish in the washing machine?

The Vanish brand offers a variety of whitening household chemicals. The company produces powder, spray and gel stain removers for fabrics, as well as carpet and furniture cleaners. A separate line has also been developed for pet owners. Can be washed with Vanish in a washing machine - to remove stains from clothes and return the fabric to its original whiteness. The main thing is to figure out in advance how much product to add to the machine and where.

Instructions for using Vanish in the machine

Vanish is easy to use at home, especially when cleaning in an automatic machine. It is enough to study the instructions given on the package and correctly calculate the dosage. As a rule, the bleaching process consists of two stages: soaking in a basin and washing in a machine. For the best effect, the dirty item is first soaked. We dilute the stain remover in a basin at the rate of 100 ml of liquid or one scoop of dry Vanish for every 4 liters of water. Afterwards, we sort the clothes by type and color of fabric and immerse the batch in the resulting solution for 2-6 hours. The laundry is then rinsed and loaded into the washing machine drum.

The second step is to wash the items to be bleached in the machine. The procedure is standard, the main thing is to correctly add Vanish to the powder receptacle. It's no secret that the tray of each washing machine has several compartments - for different types of products and stages of the cycle. If the ditches are mixed up, the quality of the wash will be seriously affected: the clothes will either remain dirty or will not have time to rinse off the soap. To avoid mistakes, you need to “get to know” the dispenser.

On front-type machines, the powder receptacle is located in the upper left corner of the body, on “vertical” machines - under the top cover. In any case, the dispenser has three compartments, marked with numbers or letters.

• “*”, “Softener”, the image of a flower is the smallest compartment located in the center of the dispenser. Designed for additional liquid products: conditioners, fragrances, rinses and softeners. The cuvette is used only at the rinsing stage, so adding Vanish to it is pointless - it will not have time to act on the stains.
• “A”, “I” – a medium-sized compartment from which powder or gel is taken only when the “Soaking” or “Pre-wash” modes are turned on. The system blocks it on other programs, so it will not work for Vanish.
• “B”, “II” - the largest compartment, usually located on the left side. The detergent is taken from here in any mode, since this is the main wash compartment. All cleaners, dry and liquid, including stain removers and bleaches, are added here. It turns out that Vanish should also be added to the machine through it.

If the washing machine does not have a special compartment for bleach, then Vanish is added to compartment “B” or “II”.

Modern washing machines are equipped with a special compartment for bleach, which is marked with a triangle icon. It is not difficult to understand whether the machine has one of these: just carefully inspect the powder receptacle or read the factory instructions.If a separate cuvette is present, then pour the stain remover into it:

• “pull out” the cuvette;
• measure out the required amount of liquid;
• fill the compartment (without exceeding the “max” level).

You can use Vanish in a washing machine in another way - add bleach directly to the drum. The main thing is to pour or pour the product onto other things, cover the “slide” with a napkin or rinse it into the tank with a glass of water. Do not splash stain remover onto the fabric, otherwise the fibers will be damaged.

Program selection

Modern machines offer the user a special mode – “Whitening”. This program helps the bleach to “open up” better and remove all contaminants from the fibers. If such an option is present, then it is recommended to use Vanish with it. Activating the Whitening mode is simple. First, run the main wash with regular detergent. Afterwards, without taking things out of the drum, we begin cleaning:

• pour Vanish into a special compartment;
• turn on “Whitening”.

All! The system will automatically set the temperature, spin and cycle duration. All that remains is to wait for the end of the regime and evaluate the result.
