How to properly wash staple?

How to wash staples correctlyStaple is a mixed fabric containing cotton and viscose. As a rule, the material is used for sewing light summer clothes, especially for women. However, in summer, clothes are most susceptible to contamination, so it is important to know how to wash staples correctly so as not to deform or damage the product.

Traditional care preferred

Staple is a delicate fabric, so it is preferable to wash it by hand: this way, the risk of damaging the fiber or deforming the product will be minimized. All information regarding washing parameters is indicated on the manufacturer's label sewn on the reverse side of the item. For example, which washing mode is more optimal and what temperature is recommended for this type of fabric so that it does not shrink or become deformed. Violation of these recommendations does not always lead to disaster, but if you want to extend the life of a thing, it is better to listen to them.

If you plan to wash several items from the staple, be sure to sort them by color. Separate colored from white or light from dark, depending on the prevailing tones. Even if a dark or colored item fades, it will not affect other items. Next, do the following:water should be 40 degrees

  • pour warm water, heated to no more than 30-40 degrees, into a large container;
  • Add liquid detergent to the basin. It is preferable because it is better rinsed from fabric fibers. When washing an item by hand, you will never be able to rinse it as well as in a machine;
  • place the laundry prepared for washing in a basin, completely immersing it in water, and leave for 5-10 minutes;
  • After 5-10 minutes have passed, wash the clothes using gentle, smooth movements. Do not rub the fabric, do not press it hard, act as carefully as possible;
  • When the wash is completed, you need to start rinsing. Replace the water in the basin with clean water at the same temperature in which the fabric was washed before.

Important! If you create a temperature difference during rinsing, the clothes will inevitably shrink or become deformed.

Let's use an automatic machine

As for washing in a washing machine, it is acceptable for staples. Moreover, if there is no serious contamination on the item, it is better to wash it automatically immediately. If you put a stain on a dress made from staples, it is better to first soak it by hand and then run it through the washing machine.Washing clothes in a washing machine

  • Choose any delicate program from those available. Set the spin speed to the minimum value.
  • As when washing by hand, the temperature should not exceed 40 degrees.
  • Add detergent to the dispenser. It is better, again, for it to be a gel base, as it dissolves and rinses better.
  • Disable automatic drying if it is included in the program.

Delicate modes, as a rule, do not last long, so the washing time of the staple will be no more than 30-40 minutes.

Drying, ironing and storage

Excessively active spinning is contraindicated for staple items. Of course, at minimum speed in a washing machine it is acceptable, but it is better to abandon it completely. You can remove moisture from the product by simply laying it on the bottom of the bathroom. Excess water will drain into the drain hole on its own.

It is recommended to dry the staple product in natural conditions. The easiest way to do this is in the fresh air, hanging the item on the balcony.To avoid deformation, place the product on hangers and dry in this position, rather than hanging directly on the ropes. To preserve the quality and color of the fabric, do not expose it to direct sunlight or precipitation of any kind. If it is not possible to dry the item outside in this way, place it inside and create a flow of fresh air by, for example, opening all the windows.

Attention! You can iron the staple only with a minimally heated iron, from the wrong side through cotton fabric or gauze. Do not use the function of moistening the material with steam to prevent it from shrinking.

Staple clothes are stored in the closet on a hanger. To create double protection from dust and moisture particles, you can also put a special cover on it. Before placing the product in a closet for storage, it must be thoroughly washed and dried.
