How to turn on the Leran dishwasher and start the wash

How to turn on the Leran dishwasher and start the washOften, users who have a dishwasher for the first time think about how to start the device. Turning on the Leran dishwasher is very simple - you just need to insert the power plug into the socket and press the “On” button. on the control panel. But this is only 1% of what owners need to know. We’ll also figure out how to add detergents to the PMM, how to load dishes correctly, and which program to choose.

Adding the necessary funds

When you purchase a new dishwasher, be sure to read the instructions that came with it. The user manual contains all recommendations for operating the equipment. From how to connect the device to communications and start the wash, to a description of all programs, as well as care tips.

The first start of a new dishwasher should be idle, without dishes in the working chamber. This cycle is needed to wash the inside of the machine and also to observe its operation. However, before testing, be sure to load special tools into the PMM.

For normal operation of the dishwasher, you will need special salt, detergent and rinse aid.

Before turning on the Leran PMM for the first time, you must:

  • adjust the softener;
  • pour salt for PMM into the softener, pour 500 ml of water into it;
  • pour rinse aid into the dispenser;
  • add dish detergent to the tray.How often should you put salt in the dishwasher?

To adjust the softener in your dishwasher, you need to know the water hardness level in your region. You can measure it using special test strips. The second way is to call Vodokanal and check the indicator. Based on this, the salt consumption is adjusted.

Once you know the hardness of your tap water, adjust the softener.In what position you need to put the regulator, it is indicated in the instructions for the Leran PMM. Then you can pour the salt into a special container. The algorithm will be as follows:

  • remove the lower basket from the washing chamber;
  • find the lid at the bottom of the hopper, unscrew it;
  • pour approximately 1.5 kg of salt into the container;
  • pour 500 ml of water into the compartment;
  • screw the cap tightly counterclockwise.

After filling the container with salt, you should run a test cycle as soon as possible. Otherwise, salt water may damage the internal parts of the dishwasher. However, before starting the program, you need to add detergent to the dispenser.Dishwasher runs out of salt quickly

The detergent dispenser is located on the PMM door. It has two compartments - for the main wash, with a filling volume of 20 grams, and for the soaking cycle, with a volume of about 5 grams. After filling the compartments, close the container lid tightly.

Only use detergents designed specifically for dishwashers.

For a test cycle, adding salt and detergent will suffice. For subsequent use, you also need to fill the machine with rinse aid. It prevents streaks from appearing on dishes and helps cutlery dry quickly.

The rinse aid reservoir is located in the PMM door, next to the detergent dispenser. Tray volume – 110 ml. After filling the container, close the lid by turning it to the right.

The rinse aid dispenser needs to be adjusted. Here you also need to focus on the hardness of tap water. First, set the knob position to position 1. If drops remain on the dishes, turn the selector to position 2, and so on until the desired effect is achieved.

Loading kitchen utensils

The second task that needs to be completed before starting the wash is to load the dishes. There are also nuances here. It is important to arrange the cutlery correctly so that the water evenly washes each item.

Do not wash in the dishwasher:

  • products with wooden, porcelain and mother-of-pearl handles;
  • dishes made of non-heat-resistant plastic;
  • tin and copper appliances;
  • thin crystal;
  • wooden utensils;
  • synthetic fiber products.dishes become shiny

Before loading into the machine, it is necessary to remove large remnants of food from the dishes. Clean burnt food and fruit pits from plates, and remove tea bags from mugs. You should not load too small items into the dishwasher - they may fall out of the basket during the process.

The instructions for the Leran dishwasher contain the following recommendations for loading dishes into the working chamber:

  • deep dishes (pots, saucepans, mugs) should be placed upside down;
  • products with bends and recesses must be placed at an angle so that water can easily drain from the recesses;
  • all cutlery must be securely fixed in baskets so that they do not fall during the washing process;
  • the dishes should not interfere with the rotation of the dishwasher spray arms;
  • You cannot stack objects on top of each other;
  • it is necessary to leave a gap between the products so that each item is washed from all sides;
  • Large items should be loaded into the lower basket, smaller dishes should be loaded into the upper tray;put dishes in baskets
  • long and sharp utensils should be placed horizontally in the upper basket.

Do not overload the dishwasher. Firstly, it is harmful to the machine. Secondly, energy consumption increases. Thirdly, cutlery is not washed well. Therefore, if a lot of dishes have accumulated, it is better to divide it into two batches.

Leran dishwashers are equipped with an upper and lower basket for dishes, as well as a tray for cutlery. Small items are loaded from above:

  • mugs;
  • saucers;
  • coffee cups;
  • gravy boats;
  • small salad bowls;
  • glasses.

The lower basket is intended for larger and dirtier items: pots, baking sheets, stewpans, serving plates, frying pans, lids. The larger the item, the closer to the edge of the tray it should be placed. The plates are placed with the inner side towards the center.

The height of the upper basket on Leran dishwashers can be adjusted. To do this, you need to move the rollers to other guides. Additional mounts for glasses can be lowered down or removed altogether.

Cutlery is loaded into a separate, third basket, individually. Forks and spoons should not be nested inside each other, otherwise this will affect the quality of the wash. Skimmers, spatulas, and crushers are also placed here.

Selecting a mode and starting the equipment

After loading the dishes into the working chamber, you can start the wash. Pour the detergent into the dispenser and plug the power cord into the outlet. Next, open the PMM door and press the “On” button. After this, the display will light up and you will need to select the appropriate program.

The program is selected based on the type of dishes and the intensity of their contamination.

The set of programs will vary depending on the dishwasher model. Let's describe the modes that most Leran machines have.

  • Intensive – for very dirty dishes. The cycle is performed at a temperature of 50-70 degrees, the washing duration is 165 minutes.
  • Standard – for normally soiled dishes. Washing occurs at 45-65 degrees, the cycle lasts 175 minutes.
  • Eco is another program for dishes with a medium degree of soiling.When this mode is started, optimal consumption of water and electricity is ensured. Duration – 190 min.
  • Glass – for dishes with light stains. Washing is performed at 40 degrees, the cycle lasts 125 minutes.
  • The express program is suitable for washing lightly soiled items. The duration of the mode is 30 minutes.Leran FDW 45-096

Select a program based on the type of dishes loaded into the chamber. Do not use intensive mode for washing fragile items. Also, “Express” will be ineffective for dealing with burnt pans and pots.

The washing mode is selected by the corresponding button on the dashboard. When the program is activated, the indicator will light up. Close the door and the PMM will start working.

The selected program can be adjusted if a little time has passed since the start of the cycle (while the detergent has not yet entered the chamber). For this:

  • open the PMM door;
  • hold down the program button for 3-5 seconds until the machine goes into standby mode;
  • select the desired washing mode;
  • close the door.

It is also possible to reload dishes into an already running machine. For this:

  • open the PMM door slightly;
  • wait until the water supply stops and open the door completely;
  • load the dishes into the basket;
  • close the door - after 10 seconds the machine will resume operation.

When the cycle is completed, the machine will beep. It is necessary to turn off the dishwasher from the button and open the door slightly. Wait 5 minutes, then unload the PMM. During this time, the dishes in the chamber will dry and cool.
