Turning on the Vestel washing machine
It is not enough to simply turn on the Vestel washing machine to start the cycle - you need to prepare the machine, load things with powder and configure the program. It sounds complicated, but in reality everything is easy: especially if you already had a washing machine of any brand at home. The main thing is not to neglect the factory instructions and expert recommendations when starting the system. We will tell you in more detail what nuances we are talking about.
First steps
If you just bought Vestel SM, you cannot immediately turn on and start washing with laundry. Before you begin full operation of the machine, you must follow a certain “ritual”. We are talking about the following actions:
- carefully study the attached factory instructions;
- let the machine sit at room temperature for 2-3 hours;
- remove branded stickers, fasteners, foam protection;
- remove the shipping bolts (they are necessary when transporting equipment, but must be removed before starting the system);
- connect Vestel to communications (water supply, electricity and sewerage);
- adjust the position of the housing according to the building level.
Damage to the machine after starting the system with transportation bolts is not covered by warranty - they are eliminated at the user's expense!
The washing machine, prepared to be turned on, can be put into operation. But without laundry - the first start should be empty, but with powder or cleaner. We fill the powder receptacle, close the hatch door and turn on any high-temperature mode. This way the machine will be checked for serviceability and cleared of factory grease. It is important to control the first start of the machine.It is necessary to check whether the engine is making too much noise and whether there are any problems with draining or taking in water. Factory defects should appear immediately, so you should carefully observe the washer. If everything is in order, then you can turn on a full wash.
How to set up a normal wash?
The initial start-up of the washing machine is carried out on any high-temperature program. For subsequent washes, this option will not work - you should configure the machine correctly and select a mode, depending on the type, color and degree of soiling of the fabric. The cycle parameters are adjusted using the dashboard. If difficulties arise with deciphering the images and inscriptions on the “tidy”, then open the factory instructions again. It describes in detail each button and light bulb, and also provides a list of standard programs. As a rule, a basic set of modes is enough for the user; the main thing is to choose the most suitable ones from the list.
Having finally become familiar with the machine, we proceed to starting the wash:
- connect the machine to the power supply;
- open the water supply tap;
- we sort things by type and color of fabric, send the batch to the drum (remember the minimum and maximum capacity);
- press the hatch door against the body (until a characteristic click);
- pour or pour detergent into the powder receptacle (we focus on the markings of the compartments, then we will look in more detail);
- we start the machine by pressing the network button;
- turn the programmer to the selected mode;
- We activate the wash using the “Start/Pause” button.
All! Now the Vestel machine will wash at the time specified by the system. As soon as the cycle ends, the machine will indicate the end of the program with a sound signal.However, do not rush to open the hatch immediately after the melody - the electronic lock will be removed only after 3-4 minutes.
Pay special attention to the program you include. If you mix up the button and choose a fast or intensive cycle for washing wool, the item will be irrevocably damaged. Don't forget that delicate fabrics can be washed on one cycle, while cotton, synthetics and denim can be washed on another.
About the laundry detergent
The quality of washing is also affected by the detergent. It is important to correctly calculate the dosage of concentrate prescribed on the package: an insufficient amount will not cope with dirt, and an excessive amount will damage the fabric. For convenience, measuring devices, a spoon or a cap are used. The second point concerns pouring the powder. On Vestel, powder receivers consist of three compartments:
- the left one, the largest, is intended for the main wash;
- central, the smallest, used for additional liquid products, fragrance, softener, bleach;
- right, middle, required when turning on the prewash.
To clean delicate fabrics, cleaning products in the form of gels, capsules, tablets and wipes are recommended.
The third nuance is the quality of the concentrate. It is advisable not to save money and choose instant natural formulations. They handle stains better and are completely rinsed out of the fibers.
Treat your machine with care
Using Vestel is easy - you just need to follow the instructions, choose the right mode and add detergent. The washing machine will do the rest itself: calculate the washing time, rinse and spin the laundry. The main thing is to learn in advance the nuances of operating the model and remember the standard rules for caring for the machine. Thus, all users of washing machines are recommended to:
- do not exceed the maximum drum load;
- do not start the machine with a half-empty tank;
- after using the machine, start a “idle” rinse, wipe the body with a cloth, leave the hatch and powder receptacle open;
- do not store shampoos and other things on the lid of the machine;
- do not adjust the specified settings after activating the mode, otherwise the board may freeze;
- measure the hardness level of tap water and use softeners if necessary.
